This started as warm-ups inspired by a common art prompt, then became its own thing. I try to challenge myself to do a different thing with each prompt.

    Summary

After a big event at the Dawn Winery, Diluc finds that one of the guests has stayed behind—Jean, his childhood friend and Acting Grand Master of the city. And even though they haven't been close in recent years, she still asks him a very special favor, and Diluc finds—to his surprise—he is only too happy to comply. No strings attached. No feelings involved. Obviously.

He smiled despite himself and held out his pinky.

"I promise, I won't laugh or make fun of you," he said solemnly.

Jean looked at him, surprised, before she chuckled and hooked her own pinky into his to shake his hand.

"Well then… Guess I have to tell you now." She averted her gaze once more and started to wring her hands again. "Maybe request isn't the right word. It's more of a favor I want to ask. Or maybe more of a… well, doesn't matter, right?"

    Summary

“Master Diluc, are you quite alright?” Venti asks.

Diluc turns back around. “You,” he begins, and then, “I—”

He stares at the sink again, then back at Venti, who just blinks, seeming quite bemused.

“How is wine-cursing a thing you can do now?!” Diluc demands.

“Hey,” Venti says, mock-crossly. “I cultivated the God of Wine title very diligently, I'll have you know that. Unfortunately, it never gave me any useful abilities— like the power to turn water to wine! Wouldn't that have been amazing? But no, that never manifested.”

Barbatos is the God of Wind and Freedom, but also of Wine and Song. He thus has a sliding scale of wine-curses from "I lay a plague upon your house" and "may all the wine you drink be ever-so-slightly over-oxidized." He absolutely uses his wine-cursing abilities on drunk assholes at the bar.

    Summary

Another strike of lightning cracks across the sky. The thunder that follows is so loud it feels like the whole building is shaking. Venti presses his hands against his ears, trying to drown out the screaming winds, trying to tamp down on his own screaming instincts. His vision blurs. He blinks furiously, trying to remember his name.

I am Venti. I am a bard. A human bard.

I don’t want to be small again.

He is more than a wisp now, truly, and yet—

His chest tightens, and suddenly he’s on his feet. He is a thread of the thousand winds, and the storm is calling him. His skin prickles. He bolts.

AITA for setting my coworkers up on a vacation that ended in disaster?

I (33F) set up my coworkers K (26F) and G (3000+F) on a date disguised as a paid vacation so they can stop pining over each other at work and finally get together.

I personally paid for an all-expense vacation at the Dragonspine Inn for a full week, and paid staff there to subtly push them closer to each other. Such examples are: putting them in the same room with one bed, decorating their food with hearts, and putting them in situations one would find in a sappy cliche romance novel.
