He’s working on manual now, his brain essentially offline as he sees the fond smile gracing the other man’s lips. The smile he’d grown to know so well through the screen of his phone is only fifty feet and a small crowd of newly arrived tourists away. It’s a little silly, now, thinking about how terrified he had been to come. How willingly he would have let someone convince him this was a dumb idea.
