Summary
As a child, if you were to ask them what they wanted to be when they grew up, your most typical answer would be a rockstar, second to a princess or the president. You always wondered what their life was like, how different it would be, if people would treat you differently. The days blended between oversleeping, working at the coffee shop, or going to classes. Life was mundane, but it was stable after everything you had been through. The neon lights of Tokyo flashed, the sounds of heavy rain filled the air, you peek out from under your soaked hoodie to look up to see the man with a small scar adorning his lips. Suguru's warnings echoed through your mind to stay away from this man at all costs, your heart began beating a million miles an hour. The tall man before you flashed a wide grin sparing no hesitation pulling a gun out from his pant pocket. Before you had the chance to react, the sound of gunshots filled the air, followed by a deafening silence as a single pair of heavy footsteps walked out of the dark alley.
After rotting your childhood away in the countryside, you ran away to Tokyo to find some solace, to pick up the missing pieces of yourself, but your healing was stopped shortly when your professor decided to ask you for some coffee. You never should have agreed if you knew a vanilla latte was going to turn your already upside down life somehow worse.
