Summary
Shanks and Marco are the ones that survive the last stand against the Marines and Teach. Luffy, Nika, sends them back so there is a chance for a second chance. After sharing what he left, Marco goes to look for Shanks and the both of them set course to Dawn and get there just in time to deal with Bluejam/Outlook. MarShanks adopting (kidnapping) the ASL bros and raising them. Making sure that they survive and come out as the monsters they were meant to be. Includes Ace getting all the hugs, Sabo learning how to be a gremlin from Shanks and Buggy. Lastly, Luffy conquering hearts and making allies to keep for when he sets out (no one knows how a rookie knows half the shichibukai or Yonko crews) Sengoku is pulling out his hair when he figures it out and doesn't know how to handle this (no matter what the elders tell him he doesn't want Newgate, Shanks, Mihawk, Katakuri and several others on his ass thanks).

Summary
He's tempted to outright ask them about it when he sees them later, but that brings him around to the second problem of the day. He's late, and there is nothing he's going to do to fix it. For the past eight or so hours, his roommate has been a living weighted blanket for him, and fighting off the urge to fall back asleep is an uphill battle.
Luffy's nose is pressed firmly into Law's neck, each exhale soft and steady. One of his hands is between Law's head and the arm of the couch, keeping the uncomfortable stiffness from bothering Law, and the other has a loose grip on Law's tank top, right above his waist. Their legs and the blanket are so tangled that Law's sleepy mind can't fathom what's going where, so he doesn't bother to try. All he needs to do is keep his own arms around Luffy to keep him from rolling off the couch, and to hope his friends will take a rain check on their meeting.
It's unfortunate that he is only in control of one of those two tasks.
3+1, three times Law and Luffy have to argue that they aren't dating to their friends and family, and the one time they realize they are.

Or: A One Piece Fix-it AU where instead of just chucking his vivre card at Luffy and leaving, Ace also makes a vivre card for Luffy. Unfortunately for Ace, Luffy is a chaotic menace who can't stay out of trouble. Ace has a crewmate killer to catch, but he can't seem to get three feet away before Luffy's vivre card bursts into flames and does the weirdest shit imaginable. Needless to say, his revenge quest against Blackbeard is side tracked.
