Summary
Merely days after getting attacked by a sludge villain, Izuku Midoriya is kidnapped by the Yakuza for his quirklessness. When the repercussion of not doing what he’s told is a little girl getting experimented on and tortured, Midoriya decides the only option is to obey regardless of consequences.
One of these long-term consequences somehow became seeing his kidnapper as a father figure and not knowing how to make it stop. Overhaul’s constant praise certainly isn’t helping!!

It truly wasn't anything personal.
It’s just, well, Izuku had a job to do, and Overhaul was getting in the way of that job.
Izuku had little respect for Chisaki Kai and even less respect for the operation the man ran.
Izuku had no doubt in his mind that the boss had made a grievous error in judgment when he had chosen the man as his successor.
