Summary

He and a coupla truckers got it going again, gave him ample opportunity to break down ‘bout an hour outside a Signal. Took a snooze on the shoulder, figured he could hitch if he needed to. Route 26 was busy enough. But salvation came once again in the form of a family asking for directions, and he putted the rest of the way to Aguirre’s just to break down in the damn parking lot.
