Logan looks back down at the box.
There are really only two ways to play this. The first is to pretend that he didn’t find them. This is a bad option, because he knows Wade will be listening from the living room, waiting to hear if his little joke paid off, and he doesn’t have super hearing but Logan’s been tossing metal boxes around pretty loud in here, so it’s probably pretty obvious.
The second option is to march back through and stab Wade through the head in the hope that, in the process of having to regrow half a temporal lobe, he doesn’t have the opportunity to make a memory out of this.

“Relax.” Wade tells him. Logan must have tensed up again. Without really thinking, he tries to do as Wade directs, to let his muscles go lax. Logan hears Wade’s breath hitch a little as he feels the effort. “Good,” he says. “You’re doing good. Just relax.” The words make Logan’s face heat up, and he knows they’re wrong – he’s not good, has never been good – but he can’t find it within himself to protest, to growl, to do anything but feel the warmth of Wade’s palm on his chest, of his fingers in his hair. He’s pathetic, is what he is. But it’s been so fucking long, and he’s so damn tired – of himself, of fighting, of everything. If Wade wants to touch him, then Logan will take what he can get.
Or: Logan thinks his body is only built for hurting people. Wade shows him he's wrong.

Logan looked back down at his book, pretending to read, trying to ignore Wade’s red-hot, irritated gaze burning a hole in his chest.
“It’s fucking February twelfth. February–fucking–twelfth!”
“And?”
Wade was truly a relentless creature, scoffing at Logan and turning on his heel, winding himself in a little circle of rage.
“And? I gave you six whole weeks to enjoy me in my most transactional form and you haven’t even looked at what you’re missing out on. Not to mention, I spent an entire seven minutes putting that bitch together for you. I even had to venture into Al’s drawer of horrors for the pipe cleaner and not even god himself could have paid me enough to do that willingly on any other occasion.”
(Wade gave Logan a set of coupons for Christmas set to expire on Valentine's Day. Logan waits until that day to use them all at once. Cue tooth-rotting fluff. And sex, of course.)
