Summary
Aziraphale’s lips parted, and the look of blatant shock on his angel’s face— visible for only the barest of moments before he steeled himself back to stony anger— made Crowley’s heart twist miserably. Never again, he vowed. Never again would Aziraphale go on thinking he ought to apologize for every fight they ever had, whereas Crowley’s temper was excused without exception. Aziraphale’s forgiveness would never be taken advantage of again. He’d sleep naked on consecrated grounds before he did it again.
OR
Crowley reflects on his relationship with Aziraphale, their last conversation, and how to make things right. He finds Aziraphale, ready to take accountability, and the two finally communicate as they take the next step how they always wanted to: Together.

Summary
“Do you remember the ox rib?”
Aziraphale straightened. There had been many ox ribs over the years, but Crowley was referring to a very specific one. From the look on Aziraphale’s face, he knew exactly what was on Crowley’s mind.
“Of course,” Aziraphale breathed. He sounded like he was praying. “It was the first thing I’d ever eaten.”
“I gave you that.” Crowley was too inebriated– hell, too exhausted from playing the long game to keep the possessiveness out of his voice. “You were hungry, and I fed you. You felt good."
“I did,” Aziraphale all but whispered. “I do.”

Crowley takes Aziraphale out to dinner. Crowley doesn't eat any food. Interesting, that: an indulgent angel, and a demon who can't stop denying himself what he wants.

Summary
“Excuse me—” Aziraphale protests, even as a thrill shoots through his spine at Crowley’s sudden, welcomed assertiveness, the hard planes of his abdomen pressed against Aziraphale’s back, the breath fluttering at the nape of Aziraphale’s neck, the brush of his fingers at Aziraphale’s hips, barely-there, as if unsure of where they’re allowed to touch.
Which is nowhere! Of course! So Aziraphale continues, even as he hides a smile, “Really, Crowley, you’re not an animal, you can conjure up the words to—”
“Hold onto the bars,” Crowley mutters gruffly.
