    Peter was tired. Tired of school, his internship, people, talking, everything. Every little action he had to do felt like a chore, like he was a kid having to wash the gross dishes for some pocket money but without the reward. Everyday without fail he woke up tired, he skipped breakfast, sat through boring class after class, tried to fake normality to his only two friends, ate barely enough dinner to not die of malnutrition in the freezing winter, went on patrol and attempted to sleep till the early hours of the morning. It felt as if he was watching his life from outside his body, like his soul was floating outside him and he had to painfully watch his lifeless body preform the exact same routine almost everyday without fail; the only variation being his occasional nights he'd stay at the compound or do his internship every Thursday. He felt his life go on and on in this endless loop that he couldn't seem to shake no matter how much he watched it repeat.

    Or, Peter is depressed and tries something he sees online.
