Jacaerys Velaryon, former Prince of Dragonstone and dutiful heir to the Iron Throne, dies a tragic, agonizing hero’s death at the Battle of the Gullet, fully expecting the sweet release of the afterlife. Instead, the gods hit the "Respawn" button, brutally shoving his fifteen-year-old consciousness into the tiny, helpless body of a newborn baby.
Jace quickly realizes he has been born into the absolute wildest branch of the Targaryen family tree. His new "mother" is Aerion Targaryen, a dazzlingly beautiful Valyrian Omega who is also a clinically insane, violently arrogant narcissist with a god complex or you can say dragon complex. His father is Valarr Targaryen, a future king who immediately sheds all his majestic dignity to become an absolute, spineless simp the second his unhinged wife opens his mouth.

Summary
There was a beauty in the night life of Flea Bottom in Daeron’s eyes. Perhaps it was spoiled of him to yearn for it at times, these people had difficult lives, he was well aware, but they were Simple. Simpler than his. If he could rid himself of his sight for a life in the slums, he would have done it without a doubt. Instead he was forced to dream about the demise of his family until his body finally gave out.

“I’m not your father. I’m not here to punish you. But I don’t want to watch you destroy yourself like this.” Valarr paused. “You think I enjoy being dragged out of bed in the middle of the night? I have a meeting at ten. I’ve been handling everything Dad left behind alone for almost a week. I should be in bed right now, but instead I’m here taking care of you because you didn’t want to call your driver, didn’t want your father to find out, and somehow managed to lose your key card too.”
Valarr had to constantly keep Aerion on track after his university performance began to slip due to burnout. But in the process, he couldn’t help but start developing feelings for Aerion.

Valarr studied him for a long moment, gaze unflinching. Then he said, deliberately, “Then choose first.”
The certainty in Valarr‘s voice was infuriating. A silence settled, held, not awkward until Valarr spoke again, slower this time, in High Valyrian.
“Zaldrītsos.”
Little dragon.
Or: When a duel meant to assert his honour is halted by the rules of the Seven Kingdoms, Prince Aerion Targaryen finds himself without a champion, until Valarr steps forward. And so begins the slow burn love for the ages.
