A voice rang out from the opposing end of the line, it struck Mike oddly enough. He was just in a mood from this call now his heart was beating and he couldn't quite think straight– the voice continued rambling onto something but Mike can't comprehend not till he hears "IT is back, Rich'" with heavy breathing following.
Mike scrambles- lifting his hand moving it back and forth from the back to his palm before just spitting something out. His head was splitting, spinning- god who knows?
"Just uh- call back in 10' —my head is, I'm sorry Eds'!"

Distantly, a boy would be quite unable to handle his emotions anymore, "Richie- fucking Tozier!"

or, how's we say Pennywise comes back just before Mike leaves for Lenora and thus the double life saga begins..

The year is 1984; After Ted Wheeler dies because of some stupid lab accident at his annoying government job in Hawkins, Indiana, Thirteen-year-old Mike and his family are forced to move there and stay at some lousy trailer park because 1.) moving there was the closest thing they had to still being with him, not that Mike really cared, 2.) it was the cheapest place his mom could afford when you’re in charge of a family of four with no man in the house, and 3.) because Mike had kinda maybe sorta did something really, really bad to another boy at school that unfortunately just lined up with the time him and his family had to move so… nothing important really.

Basically a role swap kinda. The party is the age they are in season 3 still.
Max and Mike take a job at scoops together by accident for the summer. Dustin catches the Soviet signal and all together they crack it. However due to Mikes jealousy he goes into the bunker without Dustin and El, and with Max, Lucas and Will. Now, he and Max are trapped, drugged and tortured by the Russians. His whole plan for his last year of high school was to keep his head down, balance the rest of his studies with his duties as the head of the school newspaper, and pretend like he still isn’t mourning the loss of his friendship with Will Byers.
So when Spider-Man saves him one night, he thanks him and gets on with the rest of his life. But then Mike sees him again, and again, and suddenly Mike wants to keep seeing him because there’s just something that reminds him of Will. And if all he can have are these small moments where he sees his ex best friend in a stranger —
Well, Mike would rather have that than nothing at all.

Mike hates Valentine’s Day. It was fun as kids, when teachers would make every student decorate a little shoe box with pink and red heart stickers, that by the end of the day would be filled with cheesy Valentines and sweets.
But this isn’t kindergarten anymore— there are no school-enforced rules that his classmates have to give him a Valentine. He has to earn them. And he hasn’t.

Mike is (not) upset that he’s the only one of his friends that hasn’t received a Valentine. That is, until something just so happens to fall out of his locker the next day.
