    They’re both kind of…stunted.

    Honestly, the stress of being hero students (in their class, in the war, in the terrible, stressful, traumatic situations they just kept getting into) was just too much. Hence, Izuku and Katsuki’s puberty stages were essentially ignored throughout school.

    Then they’re eighteen and nineteen respectively, graduated, working, settled down in a shared apartment. And Izuku is sent home to undergo his required, long overdue heat.

    Cue two idiots FINALLY clueing in that they're mates.

    Katsuki kicked out his chair so violently it almost tipped over, and slammed his lunch tray down for good measure. Who knows how much more time he had to prevent Deku’s guaranteed disaster. He racked his brain, trying to figure out what kind of dumbassery the nerd was up to this time.
    And then it hit him.
    ‘Oh that little shit.’
