Summary
The Creche Masters were often considered the last line of defence against external threats. Today marked the first time in centuries that their hand was forced. Alarms echoed through the eerily empty halls. In the distance, the sound of battle could be heard but it had not yet reached the heart of the Temple quite yet.
The fight ahead would not be pretty. It would not be long before it arrived.
The tall ornate doors leading to the most inner sanctum of the Coruscant Temple had been shut and locked. Behind it, the Jedi Younglings were being readied for evacuation.
In front of the door stood a lone figure.
This was hardly the first time Creche Master Obi-Wan Kenobi acted as a sentry, though this position might just be his most crucial one. His huddle of Younglings were behind the doors at his back, and he would die before letting anyone through those doors.
He stood still, unmoving and unafraid. Taking a deep breath, Obi-Wan took his saber and held it. He knew what he had to do, and he would stop at nothing to do it.
These Mandalorians would pay for breaking into the Temple with their lives.

“They tried to make them fight the Younglings. Some kind of Jedi vs Mandalorian thing. I want to bring them home.”
“To Keldabe? You have lost your mind.”
“The Republic would use them for leverage. It could escalate to war– things have been way too tense for way too long.” Obi-Wan argued.
“Going to Mandalorian Space is suicide.”
“I would rather risk my life than see children used as political pawns or worse, as leverage in war.”
“They are the enemy, Obes. If they get their hands on you they would not be so gracious.”
“There are no enemy children in war. Just children.”
Quinlan knew there was no convincing Obi-Wan at this point. “Fine. But don’t come crying to me when things go wrong.”
They both knew Quinlan would be the first to aid Obi-Wan should things go wrong.
Him and the rest of the Bear Clan.
“I’ll take the risk.”

Summary
Their first act of rebellion might just be their last.
They were distracted when the wrecked ship suddenly made a groaning noise. The metal whined as if something bent it, moving it. But that was not possible. It should not be possible. Both rebels froze as their eyes locked onto the origin of the noise. Blaster fire halted as everyone watched the ship with confusion and interest.
A hand punched through the rubble, catching the attention of both the troopers as well as the rebels. The figure pulled themselves up slowly, climbing out on top of the wreckage.
A copper haired humanoid man, dressed in robes and white battle armour stood on top of the rubble. The sigil on his shoulder proudly bearing the symbol of the Jedi Order which fell so long ago. With his features almost shining in the dim light, his eyes glowed blue but seemed glazed over, unseeing but drawn to the light regardless.
That was a Jedi.
“...General Kenobi?”
They flinched violently when the Jedi turned his gaze in their direction. Blue glowing eyes aimed in their direction but not quite on them, like the Jedi could not see them.

The Rogue Prince Daemon Targaryen sires a daughter during one of his self-exiles in Essos - which is problematic at best as while the Essosi recognize plural marriage, his relationship with his child's mother isn’t undertaken with his brother Viserys’s knowledge or approval.
Or at least, if Daemon returned to Westeros, it would be a problem.
But as the King of the newly conquered Stepstones and the Narrow Sea, there was no reason for Daemon to return - and why should he?
He had a wife of his own choosing, a child of his own, and a good-family that actually appreciates him rather than loathes the ground he walks on.
In the face of all that...what could possibly tempt the Rogue Prince, now a king and authority in his own right to return to a place that both loved and hated him?
Though it must be said: a father's love for their child can be a fierce thing indeed, one even stronger and more terrible than a love for a brother.

Summary
Sometimes it's the Force that insists you travel in time and fix your galaxy. (The Force doesn't seem to enjoy the Sith as much as the Sith enjoy themselves.)
But sometimes it happens the old fashioned way: you just get stuck in carbonite and by some miracle you don't actually die within the first ten minutes of being thawed out.
And when Obi-Wan Kenobi gets thawed out, he has managed many things, and semi-infinite patience is certainly one of them. The question is: can he be bothered to actually put that patience into play, or is he just So Done with all this shit?
