Summary
It isn't often Hermione Granger does stupid things, but making up a boyfriend to avoid pity from her ex and saying she'll bring the made up man to a couple's getaway certainly could be classified as one of her stupider moments. Enter Draco Malfoy, who suggests an arrangement: they pose as a couple long enough for her to keep her pride, and for him to better the Malfoy name by dating a war heroine. What could go wrong?

Kate Sharma always thought of Journey's End, her family's bed and breakfast, as a safe haven for people looking to escape. People just like Anthony Bridgerton and whatever he's running from.

Summary
The way she sees it, this.. this thing they have with eachother, is precarious. It's like a car balancing at the edge of a cliff, with them huddled at the back. If the equilibrium is compromised, if either one of them steps too close, goes too far, it'll fall, crash and burn in a spectacular explosion.
It's a lucky thing, that they can't die.

Summary
She was a child of Night, swaddled in moonbeams, powdered in stardust. The celestial spheres sang her to sleep, and she raced comets across the starfields, laughing, swam and tumbled in the surf of supernovas. And so she grew, wrapped in her mother’s loving embrace, until she took a post at one of the countless doors to the Temple of Night.
Nile gradually met others like Andromache. It took centuries; her threshold was one of many, and the exiled souls were few. They remembered nothing of her or the doorway when they returned to their lives, as the veil of death was impermeable, but their memories came back when they did; and so she gradually got to know them. By the time she met them, they were accustomed to their strange fate, but she did wonder what it was like the first time an exiled soul arrived at the threshold. How would she know to turn them back?
Eventually, she found out.Bookmarked by vivaciousvero
