Summary
Maybe the bathroom is free, he thought while making his way down the hallway. He jiggled the door handle, and sure enough, it opened right up, but the skunk-y stench of weed that escaped the room was very overwhelming. Smoke poured out of the crack in the doorway, too. Somebody was hotboxing in his bathroom.
“Who the hell is in here?” He growled, followed by a poorly suppressed cough from the unwelcome smoke creeping down his throat.
After a long beat of silence, a strangely familiar voice sounded out from the bathtub, “Uh… nobody?” Steve stomped into the room and ripped the shower curtain open, to reveal the very last person he had expected.
Jonathan Byers was hotboxing in his bathroom!

The Jonathan Byers justice we all need right now. You're welcome :)
In this one, I explore the way I want Jonathan's story to wrap up. I wrote this around a month ago, but I fixed it up based on the new things we got in volume 2, as well as some theories I've had in general, even though I wish one of them weren't true. You'll know what I mean when you read this, but in order for this to work, I had to write it. Anyway, I missed seeing Joyce and Jonathan interact, so this also makes up for that dynamic we lost. Hopefully the final episode gives us something close to this.
