Summary
“If you know what’s good for you,” Mark says, voice low, “you’ll stop guessing.”
Haechan leans forward, resting his arms casually on his knees, and flashes a grin that doesn’t quite reach his eyes. “If I knew what was good for me,” he says. “I wouldn’t have put out the fire.”
Prince Mark of Frozen Vein was raised to wield silence like a blade. Brought up in the highest halls of Nivemora, he was never meant to falter, but the crack from ten winters ago locks him up in the tower.
Haechan, a fire-wielder with no court and no leash, arrives like a spark in dry tinder – smiling, reckless, and entirely uninvited. His magic doesn't follow the rules, and neither does he.
As elemental unrest fractures the realm, one is bound by duty and the other burns through every rule. And when fire meets frost, something old begins to wake.

Haechan narrows his eyes. “What would I even be stealing from you?”
“My heart,” Mark doesn’t hesitate.
“That’s ridiculous,” he mutters, shaking his head. “You gave that up ages ago.”
“Maybe,” Mark murmurs, and his arms shift just enough to draw Haechan closer against him, the movement unhurried but certain. “But I like making sure you keep it.”

Summary
Mark lowers himself onto the bench beside him, close enough their knees touch. “I’d have come sooner if you asked.”
“And give you the satisfaction of knowing I–” Haechan cuts himself off, sighs, and leans his head back against the wall. “Fine. I missed you. Happy?”
Mark turns to him, drinking in the weary honesty that had been hidden beneath grand words and Cinderlord’s mask. He brushes the edge of Haechan’s sleeve again.
“Yes. Happy.”
In the lingering chill of Solvinar's early spring, Mark returns from his duties to find Haechan restless and yearning. Within the walls of Cindergarden, they rediscover the quiet rhythm of life together, but eternity asks for more than whispers in the dark. They must decide how love is declared – not to gods, not to war, but to each other, and to the city that already calls them its own.

“Every road leads me back to you.”
Love eternal does not roar. It glows, it steadies, it endures. Fire curled against frost. Frost holding fire steady. Two men who survived ruin, now dreaming of midsummers with crowns as gifts freely given.
They sleep.
And the realm holds them gently.

Summary
Mark Lee was Formula One’s golden boy. He lived for the race, the roar of engines, the blur of color on the track and the split-second decisions that made him everyone’s favourite. But somewhere in the grind of podiums, pressure and a four-year title drought, his spark thinned into something hollow. He kept winning just enough until the roar of the engine felt distant, but no one seemed to notice the burnout settling into his bones.
No one except Lee Donghyuck. The journalist who always asked the questions Mark didn’t want to answer. When Ferrari greenlit a season documentary and Donghyuck became the man behind the camera, the forced proximity turned suffocating and strangely comforting.
And somewhere in those long shoots and late edits, Donghyuck began pulling him back. Mark felt himself coming alive again, rediscovering the fire that made him who he was. In a world ruled by speed and control, he found himself anchored by the one person who made him want to feel everything.

In a season that had drained all the color from him, it was Donghyuck who made Mark feel alive again.

"Then I love you, cherish you, and appreciate you, too," he whispers, voice shaking. "Not the loud kind, not the kind that fades. The kind that stays even when it hurts, that forgives, that still holds on in my heart for the longest time I can’t even remember anymore..."
