“I wish you luck with looking after your cat. It may be hard at first keeping track of everything you need to do, but it will be very rewarding,” he says before pausing. “By the way, do you mind telling me his name?”
Ren stills. The smell of rotten fish and sesame intensifies as the cat strolls up to him. He doesn’t even know what the cat could have done to be so lathered in the scent of sesame.
“Sesame Cake,” he comes up with.
