Summary

i love how naturally their dialogue flows, they play off of each other so well.. it reminds of their dynamic in another autobot starsceam fic (Unburied by Elindae, highly recommend giving it a read if you have the time!!)

Soundwave was no stranger to loss. The war had taken and taken, and after some...unfortunate orders from Megatron involving Starscream, it seems intent on taking yet more.
As for Starscream, he is alone, as always, the cold seeping into his plating and darkness closing in.
War is a hungry beast, and they have so little left to give. But some lingering hope whispers that here, in the eye of the storm, they can find comfort, and perhaps more.
