As with all of my stories, this was originally written for the Yahoo Julia & Barnabas list. I believe it was my response to a challenge though I'm not sure exactly what the challenge was. I suspect it was a "fill in the missing bits" or "write what you think happened after this scene..." or perhaps "write a scene you would have liked to have seen..." At any rate, this was my response to the challenge.
