Sion was about to sit when he finally realized what was wrong.
“Honey, I know–”
“You know and you still did it.”
Daeyoung took a deep breath. “I just wanted us to try and mix things–”
“You know I hate it. I despise bacon on my kimchi fried rice. You know I want pork belly on my kimchi fried rice.”
“Sion, honey, come on, it’s just bacon–”
“It’s not just about bacon!” Sion’s voice got much louder than both of them were used to hearing. “God, it’s like you really don’t care about me anymore!”
Spoiler alert: It was really not just about bacon.

“Your voice is so precious that I was hoping only I could hear it.”
That was it. That was enough for Sion to stiffen where he stood, his fingers nervously fiddling with the hem of his sleeves. A part of him wanted to stop Daeyoung from speaking, afraid that his fragile heart couldn’t take more. But a deeper part of him–the part of him that belonged to Daeyoung and Daeyoung alone–wanted to hear more. So he let him continue.
“I wanted to keep it all–to keep you all–to myself. But that would be too cruel, hyung. The world should at least hear your voice once. Let them hear something so beautiful to let them know that a voice like that could exist, and it does.
“And the owner’s mine.”
