Summary
The screen flashes white again and the music stops as my whole body goes limp. It was like dying. Peaceful bliss, y’know? It felt right, like I was moving through space and time all at once, head reeling in the euphoric sensation– and then, a wall. Or moreso, the floor? The hard granite was freezing cold against my skin. The cold subsided soon after the rough landing as my hands grip the ground, trying to stand. “God, what was that?” I mumble, moving up to take off the headset once more. But it wasn’t there. All I could feel was plastic. Slick, smooth plastic. My eyes readjust to the light, in which I became more aware of my surroundings. A circus themed map. Music began to play once more, a sickeningly cheery tune that felt too eerie of a contrast for the dysphoria I was feeling right now.
