And Robin knew that Nancy loved it. She saw it in the glint in her eyes, the way a cocky smirk lit up her face with each successful shot. The way she strutted, stalked like a predator after; like the cat that got the canary. She loved the rush of glee that came with the control of such a deadly weapon; the sense of sheer power and control to possess dominion over such an object and therefore others’ lives.

The corner of Bellatrix’s lips quirked. How dare she find this amusing. Hermione would be ruined. It wasn’t shameful, per se, but it was her private information that could potentially be used against her. Like now. And she’d already been bullied for it before; they’d used silver knuckles. Thankfully the wizards involved had been expelled, because Hermione had been in the Hospital Wing for weeks. She shuddered just thinking about it.
“I’ll do whatever you want!” She blurted. Oh, shit. She had not thought that through. At all. Now she had to face the consequences.
Hopefully Bellatrix would not take interest.
“Oh?”

It feels a little stupid coming in alone. The ticket person seems unfazed, and no one else is paying attention, but parking in a half-empty movie lot at midnight just in case Robin can sneak away is actually kind of a huge embarrassment.
C’est la vie.
Robin’s standing with her forehead pressed against the soda machine when Nancy walks in. As if she was doing something truly heinous, Robin snaps to attention at the sound of the door opening, but the brief flash of I-got-caught! panic in her eyes fades as she realizes it’s Nancy.
“Oh!” she says brightly. “It’s you again.”
