I knew what he was getting at and was thankful that I couldn't help him. "I dunno. When you summoned me or whatever it was my first time watching it, and we didn't get that far in. I don't even like superheroes. My brother does."
"Am I considered a hero?"
I snorted. "Nope. You are firmly implanted in the villain category. I don't even have to see the movie to know that."
His gaze turned icy, but I saw the briefest hint of hurt there as well... -

He stared. “There’s no agreeing. I’m not giving you a choice.”
“I’m just saying I consent to the terms you laid out. I’ll stay here, and you’ll provide for my physical needs while protecting me from Hydra.”
“Consent? You’re my hostage-”
“Kidnapee.”
“-whatever. I’m your captor. You have to do what I say.”
I shrug. “Within reason. Sure. Works for me.”
“Not within reason. Whatever. I. Say. I don’t think you’re-”
“Are you saying you want me to be cowering in a corner? Do you get off on scaring women or something?”
His face reddened. “No! I- never mind. I’m going out. If you leave, I’ll know, and there’ll be consequences.”
He turned and walked out, leaving me alone in my new home.

In this case, pride comes after the fall. This is a fan fiction story (duh) of Lucifer Morningstar, of Vizipop’s Hazbin Hotel.
Lucifer's crown feels heavier than ever and lately, he's more interested in what it means to rule, rather than doing the ruling. The main FMC is an OC stuck in a cycle of punishment, but determined to rewrite her fate (and maybe Hell's rules while she's at it). Much of the cast of both Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel are present and active in this story. Expect questionable decisions, power plays, and an exploration of all seven rings of Hell.
