My palm slams down onto the table with a violent rattle of dishes, and instantly every conversation ceases, and every eye turns towards me.

"You think I don’t want to?” His tone, cold as ice, sends a shiver down my spine, and he assumes such a predatory stillness that my heart stutters. “You think I don’t fantasize about sinking my teeth into you every time I make you blush? Dream about the places your blood rushes every time I turn you on? I want to all the damn time, Violence,” he growls. "That's the problem."
