    Summary

Newly enlightened of the existence of the best thing to ever exist and also aware that it was in danger, Earth jolted out of a dead sleep and darted straight for his startled moon, who’d unluckily just woken up to the sound of his dismayed shout.

“We need to kill the dinosaurs, Moon!”

His moon squinted at him. “…What? Earth, what happened?”

Or; I saw a tiktok and my brain concocted this.

It gave Titan something to focus on, at least. "Iapetus, come back into his shadow." Titan gently encouraged, already pulling the little moon back with his gravity.

"Says the moon with the liquid ocean." Even though he complained, the smaller moon thankfully did as Titan asked, stepping behind him. "You arent going to evaporate, are you?"

Wha- why was he getting worried about Titan? He was fine! Sure, his oceans felt hotter than usual- but it was good, he was good!

Even his livings on his surface felt livelier than usual. Titan could actually feel them move, a feeling he simply... felt too overwhelmed to describe. When he had felt that first step... or swim, or whatever, he'd been so happy, Titan could have cried.

Only to remember that no one in his system knew yet. Not his planet, nor any of the moons, because Titan hadn't told them yet. He hadn't earned to tell them yet.

    Or

Due to the materials on his surface... if Titan were put in the Goldilocks zone, he would develop a greenhouse effect as strong as Venus.

An effect that when everyone shares their orbits, his livings do not react well to. At all.

A college student encounters a maid at a seemingly-abandoned house. If you can't see where this is headed, check the tags again.

This is a tribute to "Big Fat Baby", "Big Baby Wonderland", "Big Baby Academy", and "Transformansion" interactives on writing.com, TomPendragon's stories on another site, and all the other works dealing with this niche like this story that I discovered a couple months ago.

Feedback and comments are appreciated. Will probably never do anything more "out-there" than this. Enjoy.

    Summary

    Io wasn't good at breathing.

He was always jittery, always stuttery, always coughing up sulfur or sulfur dioxide, always gasping for breath. More often than not, sick.

It wasn't anyone's fault. He knew Jupiter, Ganymede, and Europa often felt guilty about it- but there was no need! Not their fault his surface was weird. He was used to it.

Sure, it sucked. The squeezing of his throat, the rock that settled in his chest and prevented him from breathing, the little tickle that wouldn't grant him a break, and started coughing fits. Or the pain around his back and chest after, the way that when he could finally breathe, his body heated up and he grew feverish instead- but he was used to it now! So it was all good! Io was just glad it wasn't someone else.

"-Or anyone to make it easier, I don't know!"

"We need Jupiter, Europa." Callisto calmly cut in, though Io did not miss the concerned gaze that came his way.

    Or

The symptoms Io shows during his sick episodes resemble the Earthling malfunction some are unfortunately are born with- but thankfully, have an aid for.
