Right after Civil War, but Peter wasn't involved.
Tony unexpectedly finds out that he has a son that not only did Obie keep from him, but also tried to kill. He's not sure what to do, but knows that the best thing he can do is make sure the kid is safe, but from a distance, and leave him alone. But first he has to find him.
Peter is alone after losing two sets of parents. Foster care... didn't work out. He was better off on his own- and he could live as Spider-Man. Even if it meant being homeless.
