A Villain's Beginning is Not What it Seems

Summary:

In the future 8 years, after Aizawa's "problem class" graduates from UA, and 2 years after the death of the villain Izuku Midoriya, Eri, Mirio, and Hatsume find a way to send someone's consciousness back in time. They decide to send most of the "problem class" back 10 years to kill Izuku Midoriya from being the next All for One, stop the League of Villains, and prevent the perfection of the Nomus. Chapter 1: Back to the Past

Chapter Text

Why do you think puppy called this meeting? Yamada signed with his free hand, the other swinging back and forth as it held Aizawa's.

"I've got no clue," Aizawa replied, "let's hope it doesn't take a while."

Yamada laughed at his husband, signing someone wants a nap!

"Yes," Aizawa said, opening the door to UA's conference hall. Eri, Mirio, Tamaki, Hatsume, Ashido, Asui, Iida, Uraraka, Kaminari, Sero, Tokoyami, Todoroki, Bakugo, Hitoshi, Mineta, and Yaoyorozu sat around the conference table, turning to look at the door as it opened.

"Sensei's," Ashido cheered as she saw the two of them.

"We haven't been you're teacher's in over 5 years, Ashido,"

Yeah, he's a principal now Yamada signed.

"Zashi," Aizawa said, glaring at his husband, who only smiled at him, making Aizawa shake his head.

"Great, you're here, Aizawa, Yamada! We can get this started then," Mirio told them.

The two walked over to the two empty seats, ruffling Eri's and Hotoshi's hair as they walked by their children. "Alright, let's get this over with, problem children," Aizawa said as he sat down in his seat. Everyone in the room groaned at the nickname that he used.

"We have a solution!" Mirio exclaimed excitedly. He looked around the room at all the confused faces he was seeing.

"You need to tell them what the solution is to," Tamaki whispered from beside his husband.

"Right! You're so smart, Amajiki," Mirio said, smiling at his now blushing husband. "Izuku Midoriya! We have a solution to Izuku Midoriya," he announced.

"Huh?" Ashido questioned.

"How can you have a solution?" Hitoshi asked, "he's dead."

"We have a way to make sure he never becomes a villain in the first place," Mirio explained.

"What?" the room exclaimed in shock.

"Quiet?" Aizawa ordered, his eye flaring red and his hair lifting. Everyone quieted down under his glare.

"Sorry!" they replied.

Mirio took a breath, preparing to explain the plan, but then shook his head, turning to look at Mei Hatsume, saying, "Hatsume, you're probably going to do a better job at explaining this than me."

"Right!" she said, standing up, "I found a way to tap into Eri's quirk. And using the embers of the quirk that are still there, I found that I could use them to power a machine. A machine that can send your consciousness back in time. Back eight years, before the rise of Izuku Midoriya."

"We send ten of you back to stop him before he even becomes the villain Deku!" Mirio told them.

The room was silent for a couple of minutes before Todoroki broke it, asking, "why only ten? We should all go back. Izuku Midoriya was the most powerful villain o ever exist. We need all the power we can to stop him."

"In case it doesn't work," Aizawa explained, "if we fail, we need people here to make sure that the world continues to be peaceful."

"Exactly what, Eraser...." Mirio stopped after seeing the grimace that crossed Aizawa's face at hearing his old hero name. "Sorry," he said. Aizawa just shook his head. "Exactly what Aizawa said. The top heroes stay. The rest of you go, save the world."

Yamada squeezed Aizawa's hand, grabbing his attention, before signing Unicorn stays!

"Eri stay's," Aizawa said.

"I have too," Eri told him, "if the machine can't connect to my quirk, it will stop working and just bring your consciousness back."

"And how does it connect to my daughter?" Aizawa asked as both he and Yamada glared at Hatsume.

"With this," Hatsume replied, holding up a black bracelet.

"Fine," Aizawa said.

"So, when's this happening?" Ashido asked.

"Uh..." Mirio said.

"One week. We need time to plan," Aizawa said, making Mirio smile at him.

"We'll give you some time to discuss it," Yaoyorozu said, getting up.

"We'll make sure to be there when it happens to say goodbye," Iida told them, also standing up. Tokoyami nodded at all of them, standing as well.

"You extras better not screw this up," Bakugo said, getting up and walking out.

"Good luck!" Mirio told them as he walked out with the other three, Tamaki, Eri, and Hatsume.

"See you at home, dad, papa," Eri said, waving at them.

The room was silent for a while, everyone trying to wrap their minds around the fact that they were going back in time.

Looks like someone isn't getting their nap Yamada signed.

Aizawa glared at him before turning to the rest of the room, saying, "Alright, problem children."

"Really, dad?" Hitoshi asked.

"Am I wrong?" Aizawa asked, raising an eyebrow. The room groaned at their nickname.

"Are we really going to do this?" Sero asked.

"Yeah, we are," Aizawa replied.

"I'll have my quirk again," Todoroki whispered.

"Jiro," Kaminari said.

"Everyone, ribbit," Asui said.

My voice Yamada signed.

"We've all lost a lot, but we have to stay focused on the task, stopping Izuku Midoriya," Aizawa told them. Everyone nodded.

A week later, the night before they were planning on traveling back in time, Shoto Todoroki sat on his couch holding a cup of steaming tea in his hand.

You don't deserve your quirk. It was never Endeavor's, and it is no longer yours. But you don't have to worry. I'll take great care of it, Shoto Todoroki.

The words that Izuku had said right as he took his quirk rang through his head. 'It'll be different this time. I'll use my full power and make sure he can never hurt anyone ever again,' he thought.

On the other side of town, Katsuki Bakugo sat on his couch staring at a picture of him and Izuku Midoriya years before everything went wrong, back when they were still friends. 'They're going to stop you, Deku. You're never going to be able to turn into the monster you became,' he thought, as he put the picture down and turned around, walking into his bedroom.

The next day Bakugo walked into the UA infirmary to see everyone already there. They were each standing by a bed, getting hooked up to a life support system.

"Bakubro," Kaminari said, nodding his head as he noticed him.

"Pikachu," Bakugo replied.

"Remember the plan. Meet at my apartment when you wake up," Aizawa reminded everyone as soon as everyone was hooked up to their life machines.

"Good luck!" Eri cried, running into Aizawa and hugging him. Yamada walked over and wrapped the two in a hug.

"We love you, Eri," Aizawa whispered.

Everyone looked around the room, smiling at each other, before climbing onto their beds. Hatsune began to walk around, attaching an electrode pad to each person's head.

"Good luck, guys! You've got this!" Mirio cheered.

"We're counting on you," Iida said.

"Kill that extra, and save the world, you extras," Bakugo ordered.

"May the darkness stray far from your path," Tokoyami said.

"Be safe," Yaoyorozu told them.

"Alright. Everyone ready?" Hatsume asked, walking over to a large machine in the back of the room. Everyone needed. "3... 2... 1..." Hatsume said before activating the machine.

Everyone's eyes closed, and the room fell into silence.

"What now?" Tamaki asked.

"Now, we wait," Hatsume replied.
