Best Blood Friends

Summary:

"You can't mix blood and pizza! That ruins the flavor." Izuku threw his hands up in objection.

"Blood and sauce both look the same." Toga shrugged. She was holding a ladle smeared with blood. The pizza in front of her was covered in it.

"It would ruin the cheese flavor, though," Izuku pointed out.

"What if you added pineapple to mute the bloody flavor?" Sato suggested.

"You put pineapple on pizza?" Kaminari shook his head in disgust.

Bakugo scoffed. "Who the hell puts pineapple on pizza?" he asked.

"Hey, pineapple on pizza tastes amazing!" Sero protested.

Work Text:

Perhaps Izuku had some problems. He's not quite sure whether he should explain this to All Might or just let it go. He just wanted to buy some new Mirko merch when Toga approached him. It wasn't until she approached him that Izuku noticed the girl.

"Y'know, you and Mirko are kinda similar. You both are like badass bunnies." The blonde giggled.

His eyes fixed on the girl, ready to tell her he wasn't a badass, but he knew those messy buns anywhere. "T-toga?!" He sputtered. He immediately went into a battle stance. "What do you want?" Izuku questioned the young villain.

He wanted to know what she was doing here. Did the league plan on attacking? Was this a trick?

"Relax, Izuchan! I came to buy merch, like you!" Toga giggled.

Izuku narrowed his eyes but relaxed. "I could call the police on you, Toga. You and the league kidnapped my friend less than a month ago." he pointed out. His body was tense.

"But Izu!" Toga pouted. "I only came here for hero merch. That's not illegal." she giggled. Toga showed him the Uravity and Deku keychains she planned on "buying."

The keychains were chibi figures. Honestly, they were adorable.

"You're a wanted criminal, Toga." Izuku deadpanned. He wasn't sure why he didn't go to attack her right away. That was one of his problems. She didn't seem like some psychopathic killer, just a normal teen buying hero merch. He blushed when he realized she held a keychain of him. He didn't even know he had merch.

Toga frowned at him, "Can villains not buy hero merch?"

Izuku sputtered, "No! It's not that, I just-"

She giggled, "I'm just teasing you, Izuchan!"

Izuku groaned. Checking his watch, he realized Aizawa would want him back at the dorms soon. "I have to get going." Izuku frowned a bit. He felt confused. Why isn't he calling the police?

"Aw, Izuku! Don't look so sad. We'll see each other again." Toga smiled. It wasn't her usual insane smile. This one was softer and more genuine.

Izuku couldn't help but smile back. "You're not so bad, Himiko," he said before walking to the counter to pay for his hero merch. Toga stared at his back in shock before grinning and running off. Maybe they could be friends.

----------

It was as if they kept bumping into one another. They bond over heroes and, strangely enough, food. Despite thinking she might be stalking him, Izuku doesn't care.

----------

"Are you following me?" Izuku asked suspiciously.

"Nope!" Toga grinned.

"Right." Izuku nodded, not believing her at all. "Because villains totally eat at hero cafes." he gestured around them.

Toga shrugged, "I like ordering their All You Can Eat Mighty Burger."

"Me too!" Izuku said with a grin. He forgot that he was talking to a villain. It was fun to fanboy with other hero nerds. "It pairs really well with the Hawks Wings and Selkie's Sea Salty Carmel Shake!" He gushed.

"The extra spicy Hawks Wings with Endeavor's signature hot sauce is even better!" Toga replied. Both of them were equally excited.

----------

"Toga, you can't mix blood and eggs for breakfast. That's just a disgrace to all breakfast foods!" Izuku huffed in disappointment. The plate of scrambled eggs sat on the counter. The blood was drizzled over it. Izuku frowned at it in distaste.

"It tastes better than it seems!" Toga tried to persuade him. She took a huge bite of it, making her cheeks look round when she grinned.

"If you're going to mix blood and breakfast foods, you have to pair them right." He explained. "Maybe mix blood and syrup to pour on your pancakes?" Izuku offered, trying not to glare at the gross combination on the plate.

"Oh! That sounds so good!" Toga gasped. She pulled Izuku into a tight hug. "You're so smart!" She squealed.

Izuku flushed, "I just try and think of blood like wine." he scratched his neck awkwardly. Outside of pro-hero work, he wasn't used to getting praise. It was nice to know that he had other skills besides saving people.

"Could wine be good with blood?" Toga wondered.

"You could always ask Kuroguri and try it." Izuku shrugged. He should probably be worried that he thinks a lot about blood now. Oh well. That's a problem for another day.

----------

They were having a picnic in an empty park today. Izuku had brought Toga some snacks to try out with blood. The weather was perfect for it. A nice blue sky with hardly any clouds. The temperature wasn't too hot and the breeze flowed through their hair.

"Izu!" She called out once she saw him on the blanket.

"Himi!" Izuku smiled. He used to be warier around the girl but, she wasn't so bad once you got to know her.

Toga sat beside him on the blanket and looked into his basket, "Ooh! Is that chocolate?"

Izuku nodded, "I brought a few types. I think dark chocolate will go well with it but, this german chocolate might be good, too." He pointed to the chocolates.

"Cool!" she grinned. She took a needle filled with blood and inserted it into the dark chocolate.

Izuku laughed. "That's a good idea. I thought you could just dip it like chips.".

"If I mixed the melted chocolate with the blood, I could dip that in icing." Toga hummed in consideration.

The two continued talking about food combinations while eating. Eventually, the topic switched to heroes.

"Midnight is more attractive than Mirko!" Toga pouted.

"No way! Midnight's more about lust and sex appeal. Mirko is a literal badass. I'm not saying Midnight's not a badass, either. But, have you seen Mirko's legs?" Izuku asked. He also didn't want to think of his teacher like that.

"We can both agree that Mt. Lady is terrible, then." Toga laughed.

"She's pretty just..." Izuku trailed off.

"Just?" Toga questioned. A knowing smirk playing on her lips.

"Not the best hero." He shrugged awkwardly.

"Wow, Izuchan! Who knew the number 1 fanboy doesn't like Mt Lady." Toga gasped in false shock.

Izuku shook his head, "I don't like Endeavor, either."

"Me too." Toga nodded in agreement.

Somewhere in the dorms, Todoroki sneezed.

----------

The class was eating dinner and talking. Sato had made them an apple pie for dessert. Izuku was wondering if blood would go well with it. He could always ask Toga.

Jirou sputtered and coughed. "What?!" She asked, looking up at Izuku.

"Are you ok, Kyoka?" Momo asked, patting her back.

Jirou nodded but looked at Izuku strangely. "What did you say, Mido?" she narrowed her eyes.

Izuku realized he must have said that last part out loud. "I was thinking about new training ideas. I think yoga might help me out with flexibility, and it's good for relaxing." Izuku easily lied. Since gaining OFA, he's learned how to lie without being too suspicious.

"Oh," Jirou blinked. "I must have heard you wrong." She shrugged.

Izuku smiled, "It's alright!"

----------

"Hi, Izuchan!" Toga disguised as Camie smiled.

"Himi?" Izuku asked, confused. He was at the provisional licensing exam when a girl from Shiketsu started to fight him. "Why are you here?" Izuku wondered.

Camie's form melted away to become Toga, "To get info for the League!"

That came as a surprise for him. They normally strayed from Leauge or UA topics. Once in a while, they'd talk about Shigaraki decaying another gaming controller or Kaminari causing the dorms to blackout. Never about training regimens or the League's plans.

"What's the info for?" Izuku wondered. Maybe he could stop them before it happened.

Toga smirked, "You know I can't tell you that, Izuku."

Izuku frowned but nodded. Taking their talk as a distraction, he threw a ball at one of her targets.

"Izu!" Toga gasped in offense.

Izuku shrugged, "I need to pass."

"You'll have to work for it, then." Toga huffed before running off.

----------

He's not sure when they exchanged numbers, but he's glad they did. Now he could text Toga anytime he wanted.

Himichan: Izuuu!!!! Have you watched that new baking show yet?? („• ᴗ •„)

Izuchan: I did! I can't believe they kicked off Yu (>_<)

Himichan: IKK!! Her All Might cake was wayyyyy better than Shuji's! (ノಥ益ಥ)ノ

Izuchan: Shuji's Endeavor cake was the worst thing I've ever seen ( ╥ω╥ )

Izuchan: do u think I could get Todoroki to burn it if we ever see that cake again? lol

Himichan: If he won't, Dabi would (¬‿¬ )

Izuchan: speaking of Dabi...

Himichan: Ooooo!! Do u have a theory Izu? : DDD

Izuchan: Yes! I think Dabi is a todoroki. He has those blue eyes that are the exact shade of Todoroki's.

Himichan: Staring into his eyes, Izu? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Izuchan: It's not like that! :(

Izuchan: but Dabi also has a fire quirk, one stronger than Endeavors except he can't control it from the looks of those burn marks. Todoroki has mentioned 3 siblings, but I've only met 2. I bet Dabi ran away or the Todoroki's think he's dead.

Himichan: You're so smart Izuku!! It makes a lot of sense, we should ask Dabi!

----------

"Dabi?" Toga asked the man sitting at the bar.

"What, Crazy?" he huffed in annoyance. He just wanted to drink in peace. Which was impossible, since everyone seemed to get on his nerves. It's like they had a competition on who could piss Dabi off more.

She tilted her head as she put her hands behind her back. "Are you a Todoroki?" Toga asked, grinning.

Dabi choked on his drink. "No!" He scowled. So much for a peaceful night.

Toga's grin widened. "You so are!!" She pointed at him. "Izu was right!" she giggled.

"Izu?" he glared. The table was smoking from where his hand was burning a print into it. Dabi couldn't care less, though. He just wanted to know who the fuck found out.

Seeing another table destroyed, Kurogiri could only look at it and sigh in disappointment.

Toga rolled her eyes. "He's my best friend!" She blushed.

"Like I care." Dabi rolled his eyes. "How'd he figure it out, anyway?"

Toga shrugged and showed him the texts. "He knows Shoto?" Dabi raised a brow.

She nodded, "They are in the same class!"

Dabi felt the need to facepalm. "So, you're telling me that you text a hero brat?" he groaned. This is why their plans fail. He works with idiots.

Toga waved him away with her hand. "We only talk about food! He gives me tips for what blood would taste good with." She smiled.

"Gross." Dabi deadpanned.

----------

The two were curled up on Izuku's bed watching an old All Might movie. Izuku was out of school for the weekend, and Inko was on a business trip, so he used the opportunity to invite Toga over. Toga had sat on Izuku's lap, "You're like a heater plus, the bed is small!" She had explained. He didn't mind. While watching the movie, Izuku wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder.

He took the moment to be grateful for Toga. Izuku considered her to be his best friend. Although he had Uraraka, Iida, and Todoroki as friends, Toga understood him the best. His other friends weren't big on hugs like she was. After a long day, it was nice to just cuddle.

He had told Toga about being quirkless and she said they would have been friends either way. She didn't care about Izuku not having a quirk. She was curious about how Izuku got a quirk but he could tell her that part later.

Izuku knew Toga wasn't a bad person. Her urges for blood made her an outcast like he was. She joined people who cared about her to fulfill her need for blood. Izuku wants to help her; maybe there's a villain rehabilitation program? He'll figure it out. For now, they can just be normal teens, not villains and heroes.

Hearing her soft snores, Izuku looked down to see she fell asleep. He smiled softly and turned off the movie; they could finish it later. He got in a more comfortable position and laid beside her.

"Night, Himichan." He whispered before falling asleep.

----------

Izuku woke up to something poking his cheek. He tried knocking it away but, it wouldn't stop. There was a small giggle above him, "Wake up, Izuku!"

As he blinked his eyes open, he saw Toga standing above him. A pout spread across her face. "Can you make me breakfast?" she asked, shooting him the cutest puppy eyes.

"Sure." Izuku yawned.

She grabbed his hands impatiently and tried to pull him up, but was unable to do so. "You're too muscular for me, Izu!" whined the blonde.

Izuku smiled at her antics. "Or maybe you're just not strong enough." he teased. He jokingly flexed his arm and gave her a smirk. Swatting his arm, she faked a glare. "Breakfast," Toga repeated. There was a blush on her face. Izuku assumed it was from embarrassment.

Rubbing his arm, he muttered, "Rude.".

Izuku stood up and walked to the kitchen with Toga skipping behind him. "What do you want to eat?" He asked as he opened the cabinets to see what they had.

Toga sat at the table and thought about what she wanted. "Pancakes?" She suggested after a moment.

"Sure!" Izuku replied cheerily.

Once the pancakes were cooked, he brought them to the table and sat down.

"Here you go." He spoke as he set Toga's plate in front of her.

"You're the best, Izuchan!" Toga grinned.

Izuku blushed a bit. "It's just pancakes." he playfully rolled his eyes.

"Hey, Izu?" Toga asked hesitantly.

"Hm?" Izuku answered, looking up at her. She was fiddling with her fingers.

"Could I try some of your blood?" She asked shyly. "It's ok if you don't want to, though!"

Izuku shrugged, "Sure, I don't mind."

Toga looked up at him wide-eyed, "Really?" she questioned.

Izuku smiled and nodded, "I trust you, Himiko."

Toga teared up before flinging herself into Izuku's arms. She hugged him tightly. "You really are the best, Izuku!" she cried.

Izuku hugged her back just as tightly. "I'd never tell you no, Himichan. I know you're a good person." He assured her.

Once her crying lessened to hiccups, she pulled back a little. Izuku took her face in his scarred hands and wiped her tears away. He gave her a reassuring smile, "I don't like seeing Himichan cry. Can I get a smile?"

Toga giggled and smiled at him, "Thanks, Izu!"

"Anytime." He said as he ruffled her hair. "How do you want to get the blood?" He asked once she sat back down.

"Can I bite you as a vampire would?" Toga blushed.

"Sure." Izuku agreed. "Just try to do it so I can hide the mark under my shirt.". He didn't want his classmates wondering what it was. That would be annoying.

"Kay!" Toga smiled. "Can I sit on your lap? It would be easier than standing since you're taller than me."

Izuku blushed but nodded as she sat on his lap. "It'll probably sting a bit," she warned.

"I trust you," Izuku said again. Funny enough, he trusted her with his life.

Toga bit down where his neck and shoulder met, slowly sinking her fangs in. Izuku winced but otherwise didn't move.

It felt strange. He could feel the blood being sucked out. After a few moments, she gently pulled her fangs out and licked the blood that trickled out. "You're blood is so good, Izuchan!" Toga sighed dreamily.

"What does it taste like?" Izuku asked curiously. He wondered whether all blood tasted different or if it was just different blood types that did.

"You're blood is very sweet! It's savory, too." Toga said, licking her lips.

"If you ever want it again, you can just ask. I won't mind." Izuku shrugged and gave her a grin. He'd do anything for his best friend.

"Izu! Thank you!" Toga shouted. She really did have the greatest friend ever.
----------
Izuku wasn't thinking about the mark when he changed into his hero costume a few days later.

"Woah, Midoriya! Who's the lucky lady?" M*neta grinned and pointed to his neck.

A few turned around to see what the grape bastard was talking about. Izuku was confused until he realized what the grapist said.

"I-it's not from a girl- I- Well it- uh." He stuttered, trying to find the right words.

"Does she go here?" Kaminari asked excitedly.

"No. It wasn't like that!" Izuku said, hiding his face in his hands.

"Dude, it's pretty manly you have a girlfriend! You don't need to be shy." Kirishima laughed.

Izuku frowned, "I don't, though."

"Then how'd you get it?" Sero raised a brow.

"A cat?" Izuku questioned himself. Where were his lying skills when he needed them?

"You don't have to tell us anything, Midoriya," Todoroki assured him.

"It was just platonic." Izuku groaned. He wasn't sure what the big deal was.

"Platonic." Kaminari deadpanned. "A girl bit your neck platonically."

"Yes?" Izuku blushed.

The guys groaned, how was their classmate so oblivious? Well, he wasn't. They just didn't know the circumstances. Izuku would let them think that, though.

Kirishima pats his shoulder, "It's alright, bud. You'll figure it out."

Izuku sighed, "Sure."

They didn't leave him alone even as they walked to the gym.

"Are they in our class?" Grape Stain asked.

"No," Izuku said dryly. He was so done with this conversation. Maybe he could Detroit smash Purple Ball Head into the sun? Izuku is sure the girls would thank him if he did.

"I bet it was Uraraka," Sero said smugly. They had made it to the gym now and the rest of the class could hear them.

Izuku grimaced, "I see her as a sister."

"Ouch." Kaminari shook his head.

"What's going on?" Mina asked eagerly.

"Midoriya has a bite from a girl on his neck," Todoroki replied.

Izuku groaned in frustration, "It was platonic!"

He was met with 19 unimpressed stares.

----------

"Himichan, stop laughing! It's not funny!" Izuku whined. He had just told her what happened, and now she was laughing at him.

"They are so dumb!" Toga cackled.

Izuku flopped down onto his bed and sighed. "Now, they'll never leave me alone about it." He huffed.

He could hear Toga sigh from the other side of the phone. "It'll be ok, Izuchan! Besides, it's not so bad. They'll forget about it soon." She assured him.

"Wanna go get ice cream?" Izuku suggested. He had finished his homework an hour ago and was getting bored.

"Sure!" Toga agreed.

----------

"I can't believe you think mint is better than strawberry." Toga grimaced

"Strawberry just doesn't taste good!" Izuku defended.

"Who the hell likes mint ice cream?!" Toga stuck her tongue out in disgust.

"Me." Izuku pouted.

"We can't be friends anymore, Izuku. Not until you find a better flavor." Toga shook her head in disappointment.

----------

Toga and Izuku were both giggling, trying to hide their laughter. Apparently, putting pink hair dye in Shigaraki's shampoo caused him to rage.

Toga had set up a small camera to watch his reaction while they sat at a nearby park. For the past 10 minutes, Shigaraki has been decaying everything he sees.

"HE LOOKS LIKE A TROLL!" Izuku cackled.

Toga was laughing so hard she couldn't even stand. She tried to hold onto Izuku but, he fell with her. They both ended up laughing on the ground.

----------

"Izu!" Toga called out to him as he and Aizawa got trapped in the walls at the Shie Hassaikai raid.

"Problem Child, watch out!" Aizawa yelled and pulled him back.

"Izuchan, isn't this great? I get to see you again! Toga cheered as she stabbed Rocklock in the back.

Both had agreed if they met on the battlefield, they would pretend to not be friends.

"Come fight me, Blood Bitch!" Izuku yelled with a maniacal grin.

"Alright, Broccoli Head!" Toga smirked. They looked unhinged.

"What the fuck." Aizawa stared at them while he applied pressure to Rocklock's stab wound.

----------

As soon as Izuku got to the dorms, he texted Toga to meet up with him at a nearby cafe. It had been a week after the biting incident and his classmates have mostly forgotten. He dressed into something casual and walked towards the dorm door to leave.

"Where are you going, Midoriya?" Iida asked, causing people to look at him.

"I'm going to get some food." He answered and continued to the door.

"Can I come?" Uraraka asked excitedly. Maybe she could turn this into a date!

"No, sorry." He said apologetically. "I'm meeting up with my mom."

"Ah." Todoroki nodded. "Have fun."

"Is everything ok?" Iida asked.

Izuku inwardly sighed. He loved his friends but, sometimes they were a little much. "Yes." He replied a little coldly.

Once he made it to the cafe, he sat in a booth and waited for Toga.

"Hey, Izuchan!" Toga grinned as she sat down beside Izuku.

Izuku smiled back, "Hey, Himiko!"

"So, what did you want to ask me about?" Toga tilted her head.

Izuku fiddled with his hands. This was something he'd been wanting to ask for a while. "If you had the chance, would you leave the League?" He asked hesitantly.

Toga looked at him for a moment, trying to decide her answer. "That depends on where would I go. Shigaraki would kill me if I betrayed him." She frowned.

Izuku's eyebrows furrowed. "Hear me out." He started. Izuku held Toga's hands in his. "What if I could convince Nedzu to let you live at UA in some sort of rehabilitation program?" He suggested.

Toga smiled sadly, "They wouldn't allow that, Izuku."

He gave her a determined smile, "If I can convince them, would you do it?"

Toga sighed at her friend, "I wouldn't fit in society, Izuku."

"Fuck fitting in. If they don't like who you are, then they aren't worth it." Izuku frowned. "I like who you are, so they will too."

She gave him a small smile, "Sure, but I wouldn't want to be a hero."

"I'll see what I can do." Izuku nodded. He gave her a grin, "It's what best friends are for."

Toga wrapped her arms around him tightly. "Thank you, Izuku." She said sincerely.

He hugged her back just as tightly, "I'd do anything for you, Himiko."

"What if they expel you for finding out you talk to me?" She mumbled into his shoulder.

Izuku buried his face into her hair, "I'll just become a vigilante. I don't need a license to be a hero."

"What have I done to deserve someone like you?" Toga giggled.

"I feel like I should be the one saying that," Izuku mumbled, still hugging the girl.

Neither noticed the phone outside the cafe window, taking a picture.

----------

"Guys!" Hagakure burst into the dorms.

"What's wrong?" Momo asked, putting down her textbook to give the invisible girl her full attention.

"I saw Midoriya on a date!" Hagakure squealed.

"No way!" Mina gasped.

"I thought he was with his mom?" Iida asked.

"Who was it?" Kaminari asked curiously.

"I'm not sure," Hagakure responded. She took out her phone to show them the picture. It showed Izuku hugging a blonde girl, his face was buried in her hair. The girl's face was hidden in Izuku's shoulder.

"Do you think she's the one who gave him that bite mark?" Sero grinned.

Uraraka pouted, "It could only be a friend."

Mina pat Uraraka's back and shook her head. "That looks way more than friendly to me, Ochako." The pink-skinned girl replied.

"We should respect Midoriya's privacy," Iida said while chopping his hands.

Just then, Izuku walked into the dorms. When he looked up, he noticed a lot of the class staring at him. "What's up?" He tilted his head. He looked like a puppy.

"Who the hell are you dating, nerd?" Bakugo demanded.

"K-kacchan!" Izuku squeaked. "I'm not dating anyone."

"We have proof, Midori!" Mina mock glared.

Izuku sighed. He wasn't getting out of this, was he?

Hagakure showed him the photo of him and Toga hugging. "That's my best friend, Himichan"

"H-Himichan?!" Uraraka sputtered.

"Are you dating?" Tsu asked, pointing a finger to her cheek.

"No." He answered truthfully.

"I've never seen her before." Bakugo narrowed his eyes.

"I met her a couple of months ago." Izuku sighed tiredly.

"She's already your best friend?" Uraraka puffed out her cheeks.

"Yeah, we really understand each other." He shrugged. He hoped if he answered honestly, they would leave him alone.

Todoroki gave him an odd look, "Do we not understand you?"

"It's not that!" Izuku waved his hands around, trying to explain. "You guys are my best friends, too. She's just... different."

Jirou smirked. "You have such a thing for her.".

Izuku groaned tiredly, "I'm going to bed."

"I'm not hearing a denial, Mido!" Mina called out as he left.

----------

The next morning, Izuku walked to class early to talk to Nedzu. Before he could knock on the door, it opened.

"Come in!" Nedzu called from inside.

Izuku walked in and sat in the chair. "Hello, Principal Nedzu." He greeted kindly.

"Good morning, Midoriya. What can I help you with?" Nedzu asked calmly.

Izuku took a deep breath before speaking. "I want to make a villain rehabilitation program."

If  Nedzu was surprised, he didn't show it. "Continue." He gestured.

"I want to help young villains or vigilantes turn over a new leaf. Some of them are only like that because of society. I think they should get another chance at a normal life." Izuku explained.

"Who do you suggest goes into the program?" Nedzu tilted his head.

"Toga Himiko, sir," Izuku spoke calmly.

"Hm." Nedzu considered. "How do you know she would join?" The rat narrowed his eyes.

"I've... been talking to her." He answered honestly.

Nedzu's tail swished, "What do you two talk about?" He questioned.

"Mostly food." Izuku shrugged. "We met a couple of months ago at a hero merch store. I was suspicious at first but, she's actually really nice. Sometimes we watch hero movies or just talk about what's on our minds." He replied.

"Have you gained any info on the League?" Nedzu asked.

"Just that Dabi is a Todoroki and, Shigaraki is a huge man child," Izuku grumbled.

Nedzu's mouth twitched up at the last comment. "Any other requests?" He asked.

Izuku nodded, "Himiko doesn't want to be a hero. Is there any way for her to do something else?" He questioned.

Nedzu nodded, "I'll have a meeting with the teachers. Don't be late to class, Midoriya!"

----------

It had been a few days since Izuku had talked to Nedzu. Now it was the weekend and he planned to go to the mall with Toga. Which leads him to now.

"I'm not putting that on." Izuku shook his head.

Toga held it up towards him, "Please, Izu! You'd look so cute!" She begged.

Izuku blushed. "I'll look dumb." He pouted.

Toga pushed him into the dressing room and threw the skirt at him. "For me?" She asked, overly cheery.

He gave a long sigh and gave in to her begging. The skirt was green and black plaid. It was a little darker than his hair. "Himiko, I look weird. My legs are too muscular and, I look like a rectangle." He scowled.

"Let me see!" Toga called out from the other side of the dressing room door.

Izuku sighed and opened the door. "You owe me for this." He frowned. His frown turned into a pout when he realized she was filming him. "Himi!" Izuku whined. His face was a deep red from embarrassment.

"You look so adorable, Izuchan!" Toga cooed.

Izuku sputtered, "Wha- I am not!"

"Let's buy matching skirts!" Toga said excitedly.

Izuku looked at her happy expression and agreed. If it made her smile, he would wear skirts. She had him wrapped around her finger. He was completely whipped. Platonically, of course.

The two continued shopping around, occasionally trying on outfits. Sometimes Toga could convince Izuku to try on dresses or skirts, other times he was able to distract her long enough that she forgot about it.

The last store they went to was a shoe store. Toga gasped and pointed at a familiar pair of red shoes. "Let's get matching shoes, Izuku!"

Izuku grinned, "Yeah!"

----------

Later that night, while the two were watching a new cooking show, Izuku got a text. Nedzu had asked for him to bring Toga with him early Monday morning. Izuku felt a happy smile take over his face. His best friend could have another chance!

----------

Izuku made sure to bring Toga way before anyone else was at the school.

"I'm nervous." Toga frowned as they walked through the empty halls.

Izuku held out his hand. "If it would make you feel better, you can hold my hand." He offered.

Toga grabbed his hand and began skipping beside him. "Thanks, Izuchan!" She beamed with renewed confidence.

The rest of the walk was mostly silent. None of the students were there yet since it was so early. Their hands gently swung between them as they walked.

Nedzu had asked them to come to the teacher's lounge before class. "Come in!" Nedzu called out before Izuku could knock.

They squeezed each other's hands as they walked in. Inside the lounge were All Might, Aizawa, Present Mic, Midnight, Nedzu, and Detective Tsukauchi.

All Might's smile looked strained. His eyes darted between Toga and Izuku's locked hands. Aizawa's expression was more difficult to read. He looked bored, although his eyes looked at Toga like she would attack any moment. Mic tried to smile reassuringly, but his smile was a little wobbly. Midnight was mostly calm and collected. Nevertheless, she kept her hand near her whip.

"I'm glad you both made it!" Nedzu clasped his paws together.

"Detective Tsukauchi will be interviewing both of you," Aizawa stated.

Toga nodded, "Ok!"

Izuku squeezed her hand in comfort. Once everyone sat down, the detective started the interrogation.

"I'm Detective Tsukauchi. I will be interrogating Toga Himiko and Midoriya Izuku." He told into the recorder. "Please state your name, age, and a lie."

"My name is Toga Himiko and I'm 15." She replied. After a moment of thinking, she said her lie. "Izuchan is my least favorite person."

"I'm your favorite person?" Izuku blushed.

Toga nodded, "Izuku is really kind."

"My name is Midoriya Izuku and I'm also 15. I hate All Might." Izuku said, making everyone in the room laugh.

Tsukauchi nodded that everything was good and started the interrogation. "Where did you first talk to Midoriya when it wasn't for the league?" He asked.

"A hero merch store. He was looking at Mirko merch and, I told him they were both badass bunnies!" Toga giggled. Izuku hid his face behind his arms in embarrassment.

"True. Why were you at the hero merch store?" Tsukauchi questioned.

"I wanted to buy Uravity and Deku keychains. They were super cute!" Toga said. She showed the keychains that were attached to her phone case.

"True. What happened after you talked to him." Tsukauchi asked.

"Izuku asked what I was doing there. Then he said he would call the police on me and was about to fight me." She shrugged.

"True. Midoriya, why did you not contact the police afterward?" The detective questioned.

"She just looked so normal when she bought hero merch." Izuku blushed. "Then, when Himichan said we'd see each other later, she gave me a genuine smile. Not one you see on villains. It was so kind. It made me realize villains aren't all bad. Some of them deserve second chances." He explained.

"Izu! That's so sweet!" Toga hugged him.

"Problem Child." Aizawa groaned.

"True. How did you keep in contact?" Tsukauchi asked.

"We kept bumping into each other at hero shops." Izuku blushed.

"And restaurants!" Toga added.

The interview continued with similar questions. Each was answered with truths. Eventually, Tsukauchi finished his questions. Now, the teachers explained her options.

"We understand you didn't want to become a hero," Nedzu said.

Toga nodded. Izuku rubbed her knuckles with his thumb, still holding her hand.

"After considering some options with our staff we've decided we want you to be in the hero course. You don't have to take the provisional license exam or the final hero license exam. We only want you to take the class to learn the laws and to understand morals." Nedzu explained.

"Technically, Himiko already took the provisional licensing exam." Izuku scratched his neck awkwardly.

"What do you mean, little listener?" Mic asked curiously.

"I was at the exam." Toga shrugged awkwardly.

"Who were you disguised as?" Aizawa narrowed his eyes.

"A girl from Shiketsu." Toga replied.

"I think her name was Camie," Izuku added.

Aizawa sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Problem Children." He muttered again.

Nedzu cleared his throat, bringing the attention back to himself. "We also want you to see a quirk councilor. I know you struggle with blood urges so, they will be able to help you. A hospital has donated us some blood bags for you, as well." He explained.

Toga looked to Izuku who smiled at her. She grinned really wide in return. "Thank you!" She told everyone.

"Classes will start soon." Aizawa sighed. "You two will stay outside the door till I call you in." He told them.

----------

The two stood outside as they waited for Aizawa to finish explaining everything to the class.

"I'm excited to be in your class, Izuchan!" Toga ginned. She messed around with the tie on her uniform. Midnight had given her one to change into before they left the teacher's lounge.

"Me too!" Izuku nodded excitedly. "Now we can hang out all the time!" he beamed.

Aizawa called them inside. "You ready?" Izuku asked before he opened the door. He was glad he could walk her inside.

"Yeah!" Toga pumped her fist into the air. "Let's do this!"

----------

They were met with wide-eyed stares. Some looked wary of Toga, while others looked upset. Bakugo and Urarka appeared most upset; Bakugo was scowling, looking at her with narrow eyes, and Urarka was frowning with a hard expression.

"Hi, I'm Toga Himiko!" Toga smiled at them and gave a small wave. Izuku squeezed Toga's shoulder as he passed by and returned to his seat.

Aizawa motioned for her to sit down so he could begin class.

----------

People kept stealing glances at Toga the whole class period. She felt as if their eyes bore into her skull, waiting to see if she would attack. She breathed a sigh of relief once the bell rang for lunch. Most were eager to leave the classroom. Izuku's main friend group waited by the door for him.

Instead, he walked up to Toga. Several protests were heard, but he ignored them. "Are you ready to eat, Himichan?" Izuku asked. He gave Toga a friendly smile and offered her his hand.

"That's Himichan?!" Kaminari screeched.

"Midoriya, befriending a villain is very unheroic!" Iida scolded the greenette.

"Are they dating?" the purple pervert scoffed.

"She probably brainwashed him." Uraraka glared.

Their gaze turned back to the duo when a loud slam happened. Izuku had a protective arm around Toga as he glared at his classmates. She pressed close to Izuku while her face was filled with hurt but, also a little understanding. "Enough!" Izuku scowled at them. He said coldly, "Himiko is not a villain. You call me unheroic while judging her. That's rich coming from the guy who tried to kill Stain, Iida.". When that last comment was made, there were murmurs around the room. "Leave Himiko alone if you're just going to be an asshole. I won't be friends with anyone who hurts someone I care about." Izuku snapped at them.

"Let's just go eat, Izuchan." Toga tried to smile at him. Grabbing his hand, she led him out of the classroom.

"Yeah, sorry." He replied and followed her.

Todoroki looked between his classmates and the two who had just left. After giving the class a disappointed look, he followed Izuku and Toga.

----------

Izuku and Toga sat side by side in the lunchroom. They could feel everyone's eyes on them as they ate. "I'm sorry about them." Izuku frowned at his food.

Toga ruffled his hair, "It's ok."

"It's not." his frown deepened.

"Izu." Toga whined. "Eat your food and stop brooding!" She poked his cheek with her chopstick.

A tray was put down in front of them. "Can I sit here?" Todoroki asked.

Izuku blinked in shock. "Sure!" Toga grinned widely.

"I'm Todoroki Shoto." He introduced himself and held out a hand.

"Toga Himiko!" She shook his hand.

Izuku snorted. "Izuku Midoriya!" he joined them.

----------

Most students stayed away from the trio. Toga didn't mind. Right now, the class was watching a movie in the common room. Toga was sitting on Izuku's lap and, Todoroki was sitting beside them.

"I think it's the butler," Todoroki whispered to them.

"No way! It's always the butler." Toga whispered back.

"I think it's the mom. Her alibi wasn't that good." Izuku told them.

A scream cut off their conversation. The woman on the tv was stabbed. It finally showed the killer's face.

"I knew it!" Izuku grinned.

"Damn." Todoroki frowned.

"Izuchan is so smart!" Toga giggled.

There was more conversation around them about the movie. Mina bounced over to the trio, a wide smile on her face. "Hey, Midori?" She called out, gaining the attention of the class. Todoroki narrowed his eyes at her.

"Yeah, Ashido?" Izuku replied.

"Are you and Toga dating?" She asked excitedly.

Izuku sputtered, "No!"

Toga blushed, "We're just friends."

"Aw," Mina whined. "I had a bet with Kaminari."

"Mina!" Uraraka hissed.

----------

"Izu!" Toga whined.

"No." He shook his head.

"Please?" She asked again. Some of the students gave them curious glances, wondering what they were talking about.

"No way." Izuku pouted. He learned his lesson the first time this happened. If he didn't look at her face, he wouldn't give in.

"I'll show them the picture of you in a skirt," Toga smirked.

Izuku's head whipped around to face her. "No!" he shouted. He could never face the class again if that happened.

"You got Mido into a skirt?" Mina gasped excitedly.

Togs grinned and nodded, "And dresses!"

"Himiko!" Izuku whined and hid his face.

"Show them your All Might impression!" Toga begged once more.

"Fine." Izuku sighed. He faced the class where they all sat in the common room. "EAT THIS!"

There was something about his face that defied all logic, seeking a mirror image of All Might even in their voices. That is if All Might had green eyes and hair.

"That's freaky, dude." Kirishima was the first to voice his opinion. He stared at Izuku with wide eyes in shock.

"I wasn't quite sure what I expected. But it certainly wasn't this." Momo said. She was in a similar state as Kirishima was. In fact, everyone in the class was stunned by how realistically scary it was.

"Wait, when has All Might said 'eat this'?" Ojiro asked.

Izuku blushed in embarrassment. "Uh-" he hesitated, trying to figure out an excuse.

Bakugo's eyes widened. "No way," he said in realization. His eyes took on a hysterical gleam as he cackled. "Is that what he said when he gave it to you?" Bakugo asked.

"Kacchan!" Izuku squeaked. They shouldn't talk about it with so many people around.

"Gave what to you?" Todoroki wondered.

"Is it just me, or does that sentence sound wrong?" Kaminari laughed. "Bakubro, what did you mean?

"Kaminari!" Izuku hissed. That's even worse than what Bakugo said!

"Ouch!" Kaminari whined when Jirou jabbed him with her ear jacks.

"Isn't it accurate!" Toga giggled as she clapped her hands excitedly.

"Where did you even learn to do that, Deku-kun?" Uraraka asked. Although she still felt jealous of Toga and Izuku's relationship, she was beginning to get over it. Even she could see the chemistry between them. Whether it was platonic or romantic, it was there.

Izuku shrugged. He wasn't sure where he learned that. Impressions of All Might helped his determination. In times when he was feeling down, if Izuku laughed and smiled like All Might, he would be able to find his strength again.

----------

"Himiko!" Izuku gasped offendedly. That caught the attention of the students in the common room. There were some who peeked into the kitchen to see what was going on. As soon as the class saw the messy kitchen, they continued with business as usual. They got used to Izuku and Toga messing up the kitchen to make weird food combos.

"I feel like a salty flavor would mix better than something citrusy," Izuku added.

What about dipping french fries in blood?'' Todoroki suggested.

"Todo, you're a genius!" Toga cheered.

----------

"What movie do you want to watch?" Izuku asked. They were sitting on his bed in his dorm. Izuku's computer sat in their laps as the two sat shoulder to shoulder.

As she considered, Toga tilted her head slightly. Recently, they watched a documentary about underground heroes from the past. She liked the idea of a hero doing something for no money or fame. "We could watch that new Canadian vigilante movie." Toga finally decided.

"That's a great idea! From what I heard, he mostly fights with a hockey stick." Izuku laughed.

As he smiled, Toga stared at him. He had closed his eyes and was smiling so brightly. His cheeks were dusted with rosy pink, bringing out his freckles. It took her breath away when those green eyes opened again. As they locked eyes, both of them froze. Izuku's grin turned into a dopey smile that seemed to belong to only her.

The realization hit Toga that she wanted to kiss her best friend. Naturally, she was never one to resist her urges.

"Is this okay?" she whispered. The proximity caused their breaths to puff gently against each other.

"Yea," Izuku whispered back before pressing his lips against hers.

Once they kissed, all the unease melted away. It felt like coming home to a place where you felt safe and happy. In the beginning, their lips moved gently against each other. Bringing Izuku closer with her arms, Toga placed a hand in his hair and pulled them together even more tightly.

With each kiss becoming more passionate, they both craved more. Izuku groaned as Toga's nails scratched lightly against his scalp. His arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her into his lap. Izuku swiped his tongue across Toga's lips, which she immediately opened. Kisses were hot and messy, both of them desperate for each other. It was like the need for air to breathe.

Both of them broke away, breathing heavily. The two stared into each other's eyes as Toga rested her forehead against Izuku's. A giggle escaped her lips. "Hey," Toga spoke quietly, giving him a giddy grin.

"Hey." Izuku grinned back. He tenderly tucked a strand of Toga's hair behind her ear, leaving his hand on her jaw. "I don't think I'll ever be able to let you go now." He said softly while he caressed her cheek with his thumb.

"Then don't." Toga replied breathlessly. Her fingers twirled the small green curls near his neck as she was still straddling him, arms loosely tucked around his shoulders.

Izuku tilted his head to kiss her again. It was much shorter this time. It's nothing more than a quick press. "Ok." he breathed.

The door burst open just as Toga reached out to kiss him again. Kirishima, Sero, and Kaminari had all come in to ask for help with their math homework. Everybody else had already gone to sleep or declined. Instead, they saw their friend sucking face with his best friend. Cockblocks-

Izuku groaned in annoyance and let his head fall against the headboard. Toga blushed and moved to sit beside him.

So..." Sero started, looking between Toga and Izuku, "Bad time?" he asked.

Izuku blushed deeply. "Uh-" he tried to answer.

"Who knew you had game, Mido!" Kaminari cackled.

"So manly, dude!" Kirishima pumped his fist into the air.

In embarrassment, Izuku hid his face behind her shoulder while Toga giggled. "What did you need?" she asked.

"Math," Sero said grimacing.

"Izuku can help! He's super smart!" Toga ruffled Izuku's hair as she praised him.

"I think we should probably come back later." Kirishima laughed awkwardly.

The other two nodded quickly in agreement. "I want the details later, Mido!" Kaminari yelled as the three departed.

After raising his head from Toga's shoulder, Izuku slid down until he became hidden beneath the covers. "That was so awkward," he whined.

Toga giggled and raised the covers to see his face. "We can always continue later," she pointed out.

Izuku flushed but didn't disagree. Wrapping his arms around her, he pulled Toga down so they were both lying face to face. Toga's head was resting on his chest as Izuku's arms were around her waist. "For now let's just cuddle." He mumbled against her hair.

----------

Izuku still had some problems. There were still villains to fight or tests to take. However, as long as Toga was with him, he could accomplish anything. Even if that meant the class teased them.

"I told you so." Jirou grinned.

Izuku flushed and walked faster to class, hand in hand with Toga.
