Work Text:

If there was one thing everyone knew about Tommy Innes, it was that he loved acting. He'd been in acting classes ever since he was 5 and begged his parents to let him try acting. They had been a bit skeptical about it at first. Since he was five, they were nervous to pay a bunch of money for acting classes and then have him change his mind. But when he still pestered them about it without them bringing it up months later, they finally gave in.

It was possibly the best decision they ever made. His instructors always told his parents to get him an agent mere months after he started. Despite him being only 5 years old, he was one of the best actors in the class.

He was surprisingly good at reading lines and pronouncing his words, only needing help with some of them. And he was good at portraying emotions on his face and crying on command. They had hope that he could go somewhere with this.

His parents were skeptical about it at first. They didn’t want to get his hopes up for anything big to happen with this. It took months of pleading and begging and promising that he wouldn’t be hurt if nothing came of it for his parents to finally agree to let his instructors find him an agent.

They took a video of Tommy acting out a piece of dialogue they gave him and sent it out to a bunch of good agents. For a little while, they had no luck and Tommy’s parents prepared to tell him the bad news. Then by some stroke of luck, an agent responded.

Tommy was ecstatic. His parents and the agent emailed back and forth and agreed to meet at the acting school that Tommy attended after hours so that Sam could see Tommy’s talent live. The day that Sam was coming, Tommy couldn’t contain his excitement. He was bouncing around the dressing room like crazy.

“Tommy,” Hannah, one of his teachers, chided. “You need to calm down before you knock something over.”

Tommy stopped bouncing and turned to her. “Sorry Ms.Hannah! I’m just really excited.”

She looked at him fondly and went to respond but was cut off by a knock on the door. She opened it and saw a guy with brown hair, green eyes, and a minecraft creeper shirt. “Can I help you?” She asked politely.

“Uh yes. My name is Sam. The people in the front told me I could find Tommy, his teachers, and his parents here?” The guy introduced.

Tommys face lit up as soon as he heard the name and he ran over to the door. “Hi Mr.Sam! I’m Tommy! You’ve come to the right door,” he greeted.

“Well then,” Sam smiled, “Is it alright if I come in?”

Hannah nodded and stepped by so he could come through. They were doing this in the dressing room and not in their main stage room because they didn’t want the custodians to come back and have to lock up all the auditorium doors so they just used the dressing room since Hannah had a key.

“Do you have a scene you prefer to act out?” Sam asked, sitting down on one of the benches.

“He wanted to let you choose,” Tommy’s mom chimed in.

Sam noticed them sitting behind him and turned to them with a smile. “Mr and Mrs Innes, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you,” he greeted, shaking their hands.

“Pleasures all ours. Tommy wanted you to choose so that you could see his skills without any prior practice so what he acts out is up to you,” his father explained.

Sam nodded and took 2 pieces of paper out of the folder he was carrying with him. He handed one to Tommy and let him read it over. “Think you can do that?”

Tommy nodded. “I’ll read the dad's lines, yours are already marked Tommy,” Sam explained. “Ready when you are.”

Tommy read over the lines one more time before nodding. Sam counted down from 3 on his hands and pointed to Tommy after he reached one so that he could start.

Sam ,” Tommy greeted excitedly, dragging out the a in his name.

Sam huffed out a laugh. “Hi Tommy.”

“I heard you are talking about reincarnation,” Tommy began. He wrung out his hands and Sam was actually convinced he was nervous.

“I was,” Sam confirmed.

“I also heard you were a dad,” Tommy continued. He bit his lip and tried to stand up straighter, as if he was hiding his nervousness. Sam hummed. Tommy was silent for a second and Sam thought he froze until he glanced back up to see him opening and closing his mouth as if he was considering how he should say what was coming next.

Sam was impressed with how he added actions to the script even though they weren’t written in. He loved even more that they were convincing and fit well. He had seen people much older than Tommy read the script word for word without even thinking of portraying the characters actions.

“I had a dad…before,” Tommy finally spoke up, bringing Sam out of his thoughts. He sounded nervous, cautious in a way Sam couldn’t explain. This kid impressed him more and more by the second.

“Oh,” Sam said as if he was missing the point.

“I also had two brothers,” Tommy continued, sounding more nervous but also more insistent as if he was trying to get Sam to really listen to what he was saying.

Sam froze and looked at him. “Do you think…,” he started.

“I don’t know,” Tommy sighed, sounding relieved that Sam believed him.

“And scene,” Sam clapped. “Tommy, that was great! I have an offer for you and your parents to look over.”

Tommy's face lit up and he jumped out of his chair. “Really?!”

“Really!” Sam confirmed, “Your teachers were right. You have talent kid. With the right sources, you could make it far.”

Tommy nearly melted on the spot. The offer from Sam was just 7% of anything he earned from a role he got with Sam’s help. His parents liked the offer and after explaining to Tommy what it meant, he liked it too.

They got started almost immediately. Of course, since he was the new kid on the block, he only did little things like commercials for local grocery stores. His parents thought he would be disappointed but he was ecstatic. His best friend, Tubbo, saw one of his commercials and asked for his autograph so that he could prove that he knew Tommy before he got super famous.

(Sure that ‘autograph’ was just a bunch of chicken scratch, but it's the thought that counts.)

His acting teachers assured his parents that not many kids did commercials for popular brands like Target, Nerf, Bounty, and Nike when they were just starting out and that given a bit more time, Tommy would do something big.

His parents quickly learned they shouldn’t have taken what they said with a grain of salt. A few months before Tommy’s 6th birthday, Sam sent them a script and asked if they could send him a video of Tommy reading some of the lines. He didn’t tell them what it was for and with all the on-going preparations for his birthday party, they quickly forgot about it until Tommy's birthday.

They had all been cleaning up after his party and preparing for his sleepover with Tubbo when they got a call from Sam. Since his parents were busy washing dishes and taking out the trash, Tommy answered the phone.

“Sam!” He greeted in an excited voice.

“Tommy!” Sam said, matching his excitement. “Happy birthday little man.”

Tommy bit back the urge to tell him he was a big man but only because he just wished him a happy birthday. “Thanks Sam!”

“No problem,” Sam smiled. For a second the line was quiet as Sam thought about how to tell Tommy the exciting news he had. “I’ve got the best present for you ever Tommy,” he decided to say.

Tommy raised his eyebrows. “Really? ‘Cause I don’t think anyone has a better gift than Tubso,” he said skeptically.

“Trust me, I do,” Sam assured.

Tommy hummed disbelievingly. “Then what is it?”

Sam huffed out a laugh at his faith in whatever gift his best friend got him. “Remember that video you recorded and had your parents send to me?”

Tommy nodded and somehow Sam knew he did despite not being able to see him. “Well,” Sam continued, “I sent that in to a couple of directors who were casting for a show coming out soon and they needed someone to play the youngest. Guess who got the part?”

Tommy gasped loudly. His parents came running in thinking something was wrong and Tubbo turned to him concernedly. “What happened?” His mom asked, checking both him and Tubbo over for injuries.

When she found none, she turned to him. “Who’s on the phone? What did we say about answering unknown numbers,” she scolded, going to take the phone from him when Tommy stopped her and finally spoke up.

“I got a role in a TV show!” he squealed. His parents looked at him with a mix of shock and pride on their faces.

“Really?” Tubbo asked, practically bouncing up and down. Tommy shook his head enthusiastically and Tubbo cheered. “My best friend is going to be famous!”

Tommy joined along in his cheering and his dad took the phone to talk to Sam. He walked out of the room so that the kids would be able to be as loud as they wanted and he would still be able to hear what Sam was saying.

Tubbo immediately started rambling about all the possibilities of what could come from this. “How’s it feel? You’re going to be rich and meet famous actors and get grammy’s and-”

“-Woah woah woah,” Tommy cut him off. “It might not even be a big TV show Tubs.”

Tubbo frowned and stuck his tongue out at him. “Nope! It is going to be the biggest TV show ever and you’re gonna be the richest, most famous, most talented six year old actor ever,” he decided.

Despite knowing that it probably wouldn’t be the case, he smiled at the thought of being famous and going to award shows and meeting actors that most people look up to and being able to know them behind screens.

Going to table readings and signing autographs and taking pictures with people who loved him for doing something he loved to do sounded like a dream. He was snapped out of his thoughts by his parents coming back in the room and hanging up the phone.

“So?” Tubbo asked excitedly.

So ,” Tommy's mom said teasingly, “The directors of the show want to see Tommy act out a scene with the other main cast members in a weeks time just to make sure they all interact well together and can keep up with each other and if that goes well, then filming will start in 4 weeks!”

Tubbo and Tommy both let out excited cheers once again before being hushed by Tommy’s dad. “You guys can practice the script tomorrow so that Tommy can start learning his lines. For now, less squealing, more sweeping,” he said pointing to the small broom.

Tubbo and Tommy both looked at each other, apparently thinking the same thing, before rushing over to the corner. They both tried to get the bigger broom but Tommy's mom snatched it away before they could properly fight over it.

“Boys,” she scolded, “You know how we feel about you guys tackling each other. It’s dangerous and we don’t want you to get hurt.”

They both looked down sheepishly. “Sorry Ms.Innes,” Tubbo muttered.

“Sorry Mom,” Tommy said.

She smiled and put down the broom. “It’s okay, as long as you know what you did and don’t do it again. Now why don’t you both go and take showers. Me and your dad got this,” She offered.

They didn’t have to be told twice, both racing up the stairs to get to the shower first and use the hot water. After they had showered, it didn’t take long for either of them to fall asleep.

The next day they read over the script just like his parents said they could. Everyday after that for the rest of the week, his parents would help him whenever they could.

When the day came for him to finally go and act it out with the cast, he was confident, nervous, and excited all at the same time. He arrived at the studio 5 minutes early but he was too scared to go in so they were now 3 minutes late.

“You got this Tommy,” his mom encouraged.

“But what if they don’t like me?” Tommy whined.

Tommy’s mom kneeled down to his level and gave him the most sincere look she could muster. “Then they would be damn fools,” she said. “If you don’t get this role, there will be so many more opportunities and we can still get ice cream after.”

Tommy took a deep breath and nodded. “I’m ready,” he said.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah!” He exclaimed, hyping himself up. His mom hurried and led him into the studio before his nerves came back. As soon as they came in, there was a producer waiting for them.

“Tommy Innes?” he asked. Tommy nodded and the man smiled. “Right this way Tommy.”

Tommy waved bye to his mom as the producer led him to the set. Tommy looked around in awe at all of the filming equipment. He had never seen so much expensive stuff in his life. He was brought out of his thoughts when the producer let go of his hand.

He looked up and saw he was in a room with a lot more people. There were 3 who were separate from all the others. A man with blonde hair who looked like an older version of Tommy, a kid with pink hair who looked mildly uncomfortable, and another kid with brunette hair who was talking to the blonde man.

“Tommy!” A man in a blue jacket shouted.

Tommy looked over a bit startled as everyone turned their attention to him. “Uh hi,” he waved shyly.

“We’ve been waiting for you kid! Glad you’re here. I’m Quackity, the director. That’s Karl, my main producer. And those people over there are who you will potentially be working with,” The man in the beanie introduced.

Tommy waved and everyone who was introduced waved back. The kid with the brunette hair came over to Tommy with a smile. “Hi! I’m Wilbur. Is this your first time acting?”

Tommy shook his head. Wilbur smiled at Tommy as though he had just done something spectacular. “Me either! This is my first time doing a big show like this though,” he said. He then turned to Tommy and grabbed his hand, not too tightly in case he wanted to wiggle his hand out.

When Tommy didn’t back away, Wilbur smiled brightly and continued. “C’mon! We’ve got 5 more minutes before they try out the scene. I wanna get to know you.”

Usually, Tommy would refrain from interacting with other kids that were in the commercials he did because he didn’t want to become friends with them and get his feelings hurt when he never saw them again. This time though, they would be filming a whole season of a show together and that would take months so he was enthusiastic to make a friend.

They hit it off instantly. Tommy thought it would take them longer to start getting along but they started talking about animals and now suddenly they were having a silly argument about anteaters. They were throwing retorts at each other as if they had done this before. Eventually their other co-stars, Phil and Techno, joined in and Tommy joined Wilburs side.

That argument didn’t last long before Techno and Phil gave up leaving Wilbur and Tommy as the victors. They spent the next couple of minutes getting to know each other. Phil was in his late 20s and had played minor characters in movies before deciding to take a role on this show after his wife, Kristin, said she thought it would be good for him.

Techno was 12 and had played in a couple of other shows that he said was targeted towards teenagers and not kids so that’s why Tommy had never heard of him. He took the role on this show because he wanted to do something smaller with people who were less focused on being more famous without having real talent and more focused on doing things that could give them experience.

Wilbur was also 12 and had played in commercials just like Tommy. He thinks that's why they clicked. Since they had never experienced anything this big, they naturally gravitated towards each other. Tommy thought it was nonsense but Wilbur seemed dead set on it so he relented.

Eventually, Tommy realized it had to have been way more than 5 minutes and turned questioningly to Quackity who was writing something down and talking with Karl. “Excuse me, Mr. Quakcity?” Tommy called to him.

“Just Quackity, please,” he said lazily. He finished what he was writing then looked up at Tommy. “What’s up kid?”

Tommy scratched his arm a bit, a nervous habit he had picked up from his father, and asked, “Hasn’t it been more than 5 minutes? Shouldn’t we be doing the scene?”

Quackity and Karl both smiled at the kid and Quackity motioned for Karl to explain. “Well usually, yes you would be doing the scene. But this isn’t the usual. Typically, our actors don’t interact with people they haven’t already acted with and we have to see how well they work together. You all, however, hit it off without us having to prompt it. Me and Q think you’ll work together just fine,” he smiled.

Wilburs face lit up. “Does this mean…”

“You all got the parts?” Quackity finished for him with a smile. “Yes it does. Congratulations team. You’re now the main cast of The Sunlight Seeps Into The Cold! We’ll email you scripts and filming schedules. Techno, Phil you won't be needed for the first couple of episodes. We’ll only need our two brothers. You’ll come in at the end of episode 3,” he explained.

Wilbur cheered and turned excitedly to Tommy. “You hear that Toms? We’re gonna be brothers!”

Tommy smiled brightly at the declaration. “Brothers,” he reciprocated.

Phil watched them fondly while Techno raised his eyebrow and joined into the conversation. “You know I’ll be your brother too?” He asked.

Wilbur waved him off. “Foster brother. We’re playing biological brothers.”

Techno shrugged and went over to Quackity to ask something. Tommy went to follow him, having a couple questions of his own, but Wilbur grabbed him and started pulling him off in a different direction. “Hey!” Tommy started to protest, only to cut himself off when he saw both his and who he assumed to be Wilbur’s parents talking.

“Mom, Dad!” Wilbur said bounding up to them and proving Tommy's theory correct.  “We got the parts!”

Both of their parents cheered. “Good job boys!” Wilbur's mom congratulated.

“Mom. Can Tommy come over once we get our scripts so we can read our lines together?” Wilbur asked.

Wilbur's mom looked over to Tommy’s mom and she nodded. “Well then, I don’t see why not.”

Wilbur and Tommy both whooped and cheered and celebrated together a little bit more before they had to go home. Before they left their parents exchanged numbers so that they could plan their get togethers. It didn’t take long for Quackity and Karl to email Tommy and Wilbur their scripts for the first two episodes. By the end of the week, Tommy was at Wilbur's house laying on his bed with various junk foods and reading over their lines.

Even though Wilbur was double his age, Tommy loved hanging out with him. He was the only person, besides Tubbo, that he had ever gotten along this well with. Since they were the only two on set for the first episode, besides some minor and background characters, they had even more of an opportunity to get to know each other and get close.

They both knew that even though this show wouldn’t last very long, their friendship would last a lifetime. Though they were quickly proven wrong in thinking that the show would only run its originally planned 1 season.

In the first episode of the show, there's a scene where Tommy’s character, Landon, has a breakdown to Wilbur’s character, Oliver, about feeling unwanted because they haven’t been adopted yet.

Tommy did so well in the scene that they had to stop it the first time they filmed it because Wilbur thought Tommy was actually distraught. Quackity and Karl complimented him endlessly for it and so did Phil and Techno once they saw the final cuts.

Once the episode aired, the ratings went through the roof. Tommy’s scene had gone viral on many social media platforms and people were excited to see where the show would go. The names Tommy Innes and Wilbur Soot were on everyone's minds for a while after that.

Initially, Karl and Quackity thought that the attention would all die down. They were wrong. When Phil and Techno joined, the ratings went up even more. People loved seeing all four of them interact on screen. Who they seemed to love the most though, were Tommy and Wilbur together both on and off screen.

About 5 episodes into the show, some big talk shows had asked to do interviews with both Wilbur and Tommy as the new kids on the block, and their parents agreed. After coming up with a boundaries list of questions they could and couldn’t ask and reading over the questions to make sure they were okay, they both made their debut outside of the show.

The interview instantly went viral, and caused #CrimeBoys to be trending on twitter. Since neither of them were old enough for the app, Phil read to them what the tweets had said when they met up at his house to go over lines.

People were pointing out how they acted like brothers both on and off screen and that they loved their dynamic. Once people realized that the show wasn’t going to be renewed for a second season, they immediately took to social media with the hashtag “Don’t split up the SBI”.

With all the pressure from the network they came on and the people, Quackity had no choice but to get it renewed for a second and third season. At the end of season 3, Phil had adopted Wilbur and Tommy and that was meant to be the end, but people wanted to see them getting used to actually having a family and demanded that the show be renewed for another couple of seasons.

Quackity didn’t even think about fighting it and the show was quickly renewed for seasons 4 and 5. Tommy loved how much people loved the show. Not because of the money or the fame that came with it, but because of the family.

When they went on press tours, Phil and his wife would often be the ones taking the kids since their parents couldn’t call off work for months at a time. They would go out for food, go to nearby fairs and amusement parks, and one time Phil had even surprised them with tickets to see a concert.

The 4 years that the show ran were arguably some of the best years of Tommy’s life. But like all good things, the show eventually had to come to an end. The last episode was one of the hardest episodes to film. It felt like the end of an era.

Not too long after the show ended, Tommy got an interview with a talk show and he agreed to come on and talk about the show ending and how he felt about it. The talk show episode would be aired before the last episode of the show so Tommy had to be careful with Spoilers but he was excited to talk about his experiences.

The ten year old sat in the comfortable chairs on set as they got the cameras ready. His interview was on Late Nights with Puffy. The host, Puffy Captain, was one of the most famous talk show hosts and Tommy had been on her show a couple times over the last couple of years.

They were catching up before the show and Puffy was telling Tommy that her daughter, Michelle, was learning her ABCs. Tommy congratulated her and they were talking about how quickly she was growing up when they heard the familiar shout of, “We’re live in 10!”

They both stopped talking and plastered on similar smiles as the director counted them in. Once he gave them the thumbs up, Puffy clapped her hands and started her introduction.

“Welcome back to Late Nights with Puffy where we are, in fact, slightly less late today!” She smiled. If there was one thing Tommy admired about Puffy, it was her charisma. She never failed to make him smile and captivate the attention of everyone in the room. “You might be wondering why we’re on earlier than usual,” She continued, snapping Tommy out of his thoughts.

“Well-”

“Well that would be me!” Tommy spoke up, letting the cameras pan out so that he was in frame.

Puffy giggled and nodded in confirmation. “That would be correct. Everyone give a warm round of applause for the young actor that stole the worlds hearts, Tommy Innes!”

They paused for a second, letting the few people who were in the live studio audience cheer as if there were hundreds in the room, when it was actually only about 50 so as to not overwhelm Tommy.

“Now Tommy,” Puffy said, sitting up straighter and turning to face him as much as she could without her back being to the cameras, “I’ve heard that The Sunlight Seeps into the Cold is ending?”

Tommy nodded. “You’ve heard correctly. We just finished filming the last episode and I can guarantee you will cry.”

Puffy looked surprised at the declaration thinking of ways to get spoilers out of him. “Does this mean something tragic happens?”

Tommy smirks and motions for her and the audience to lean in as if he’s gonna tell them a secret. “You ready?”

Everyone nodded.

“What happens at the end of the show,” he paused for dramatic effect and everyone waited with bated breaths and anticipation, “you’ll just have to wait and see!” He finished. Everyone groaned and sat back in their chairs.

“You had me with that one,” Puffy admitted, “I thought we would finally get spoilers out of you like we got from Wilbur last year.”

Tommy chuckled. “See Puffy, unlike Wilbur, I can keep a secret.”

Tommy felt his phone buzz and knew that Wilbur had been watching the interview and probably texted him some retort. He refrained from pulling out his phone because they had limited time. “What I can tell you though,” he continued and everyone once again leaned in close, “Is that the tears you see from us at the end of the show are real tears.”

Everyone in the audience awed and Tommy's cheeks took on a slight flush. “Why the tears?” Puffy wondered.

“Well, we’ve been on the show for 4 years and it's genuinely been the best time of all of our lives. Now that the show is over, we’ll all still keep in contact but we’ll be too busy to hang out like we used to,” Tommy explained.

Puffy looked a little confused. “Why would you be busy? The show has only just ended. Surely you can take time off.”

Tommy chuckled and shook his head. “Sadly, that's not how it works,” he sighed. “We all got offered roles in other movies and/or shows before the show had actually ended because producers and directors can keep it from the public but not from each other. Once they heard we would be free, they jumped to split us up.”

Puffy frowned. “That sounds sad,” she mumbled.

Tommy shrugged. “We’re not too torn up about it. We’ve all agreed to watch each other's shows and movies and interviews and to text as often as possible so that we could stay in contact until we are all free.”

Puffy nodded, understanding but still thinking it was a bit unfair. “Well, on a different topic, is there anyone in the Sleepy Bois who are closer than the others?”

Tommy nodded vigorously. “Oh definitely! We’re all really close but because of the show having duos, some of us spend more time together with the others. Like I spend the least amount of time with Techno and the most amount of time with Wilbur but I’m sure if you went on youtube you could find hundreds of videos of me doing stupid shit with the both of them,” Tommy explained.

“Interesting,” Puffy nodded. She went to ask another question when the timer behind the cameras flashed 0 signifying the end of the segment. “Well I’m afraid that's all the time we have tonight folks. Thank you for tuning in to the late show with Puffy and I’ll see you next week!”

That interview gave the world an insight to their family dynamic. The oldest two spent more time together, and the youngest two did as well. It became more and more apparent that that was the case in the years following the show ending.

The whole world remembers the first interview the then 16 year old Wilbur did after the show ended and the next movie Tommy had signed to came out. It had become the top paying film in the world within a couple of days, nearly breaking the record of Marvel movies.

Wilbur had gone to an interview merely an hour after watching the show and there was a clip of everyone's favorite moment in the interview circling the internet a few minutes after it came out.

When the interview had come on, Wilbur had completely ignored the question that was asked so that he could gush about Tommy.

“I’m so Sorry,” Wilbur said, turning away from the interviewer and facing the camera, “but have you seen the new movie with Tommy in it? Tommy, if you're watching this, I am so proud of you. You have always been a hard worker and to see you starting off your career after the show with this big of a bang makes me feel a type of pride that I can only describe as one of a proud big brother. Keep doing what you’re doing, Toms.”

Soon after that clip had been posted, it was all over twitter with the hashtag “THEY’RE BROTHERS YOUR HONOUR”. Everyone in the world was loving the irl dynamic of the crime boys and they wanted more of it.

Thankfully, they weren’t deprived. Between their banter on twitter and instagram stories, them complimenting each other in interviews, and even Wilbur getting the chance to present Tommy with an award (even though Tommy was too busy filming to make it).

People loved them so much, that they basically rioted when Tommy had let it slip that they hadn’t seen each other in the 5 years since the show had ended. They had both seen Techno and Phil separately, but never each other.

It was like the universe hated them and made it so their schedules directly clashed. So people started coming up with petitions and tweeting different directors and writers to cast the crime boys.

Luckily for them, after months of tweeting, someone finally prevailed.

Tommy was currently on his way to a studio to look over the scripts for a new show he had been chosen for. He didn’t need Sam to help him find roles much anymore but he still kept in contact with the man and had hired him to manage his schedule. His official title was Tommy’s Secretary and head of security, though he acted just like a dad.

He was currently on the phone fussing over Tommy now. “Are you sure you’ve got everything? Your copy of the script, your ID badge, your phone-”

“-my water, some extra money, and some sunglasses and a face mask to hide my face when I’m in public. Yes Sam, I got it,” Tommy finished fondly.

“Just making sure,” the man chuckled. Tommy heard a faint voice in the background and a loud sigh from sam. “I've gotta go Tommy. Text me when you get back to your hotel and don’t forget to call your mom tonight,” he instructed.

“Good luck, I will, and I won’t big man. Bye Sam.” He was met with the familiar hang up tone and tucked his phone away in his pocket. He looked up to see he was arriving at the filming studio and noticed a man in a familiar blue jacket outside.

He waited for the car to completely stop before jumping out of the car without his bodyguards and beelined past the fans that were crowding around the studio and straight to the man. “Big Q!” he greeted excitedly.

“Tommy!” Quackity replied back with the same energy. When Tommy finally got to where Quackity was, he immediately gave the man a big hug.

“You’ve gotten big Tommy. Both in your name and with your height,” Quackity said proudly.

Tommy flushed lightly. Even after constantly getting compliments, he still didn’t know how to handle them. “I couldn’t have done it without you big man,” he smiled.

Quackity scoffed and shook his head, putting his arm around Tommys shoulder and started to lead him inside. “Nonsense kid. You would’ve been this famous with or without me. I just get the credit of discovering you ‘cause I recognized your talent first.”

Tommy, once again, didn’t know what to say so he let Quackity lead him the rest of the way in silence. Eventually, Quackity started talking to Tommy about the movie they were going to be filming. It was a movie about two brothers who had just been exiled from their own country and one brother slowly going insane while the other tried to keep him sane. The older brother would eventually die in the end after the little brother narrowly stops him from blowing up their old country.

There would also be an end scene with the little brother a bit older running the country. Tommy loved the idea and couldn’t wait to film it but the closer they got to the set, the more he thought about something. Who was going to be playing his brother?

This would be a big step for him because he hadn’t played brothers in a film with anyone except Wilbur and technically Techno when Phil adopted him and Wilbur on the show. He decided he’d ask the man himself.

“Hey Q?” He said, getting the man's attention. Quackity hummed to let Tommy know he was listening. “Who’s going to be playing my brother?”

Quackity got this big grin on his face and led Tommy to the set where there were a bunch of people recording. He didn’t understand why they would be recording already, and on their phones no less, but then he heard a familiar voice that he couldn’t quite place. Before he could try and figure it out, Quackity continued.

“Well you see-” he started but was quickly cut off by the familiar voice.

“Tommy?!”

Tommy knew that voice. That was a voice he hadn't heard in person in 5 odd years. “Wilbur?” He called to him, surprised and confused.  He spun around looking for him only to catch sight of him right before he slammed into him with a bone crushing hug.

“It’s been so long ,” Wilbur whined, hugging him tighter.

Tommy returned the hug, squeezing as tight as he could trying to convince himself that Wilbur was actually there. “It has,” he agreed.

They held onto the hug for a little bit longer before someone made a noise and reminded them that they were both on a set. They pulled out of the hug and turned to each other with stupid grins on their faces.

“What are you doing here, man?” Tommy asked.

Wilbur smiled brightly. “I’m playing Willaim in the movie. What are you doing here?” He retorted.

“I’m playing Tomathy in the movie,” Tommy explained. They were both quiet for a second thinking of the implications of what they both just said. “Does this mean…” Tommy trailed off getting too excited to say what he meant.

“We’re playing brothers again!” Wilbur cheered, briefly hugging Tommy once more.

Quackity smiled to himself and interrupted their conversation. “Yep. You guys are officially playing Willaim and Tomathy Craft in this upcoming movie. Now the dynamic in the movie might be slightly different from the one you guys played in the show years ago, but people wanted you guys back together and so we got you back together,” he explained, “We were waiting for you guys to be formally informed about the casting before we released it out to the public and we’ll do that now actually.”

Wilbur and Tommy smiled deviously at each other before turning back to Quackity. “Is it okay if we announce something too then?” Tommy wondered.

Quackity raised his eyebrows skeptically. “Sure,” he hesitantly agreed, “but what is it?”

Wilbur just shrugged. “You’ll see.”

Took you nerds long enough to finally meet up. Happy for you though and retweeting what the old man said. By the time the movie comes out, it should be nearing me and Wilburs 22nd birthdays and Tommy's 16th so we’ll have to tease a celebration to stress out the fans.

I also have an announcement to make! Me and @TommyInnesOfficial have decided that we are going to limit the projects we work on until Tommy turns 18!

Starting after pogtopia comes out, I won’t be doing any movies or shows without Wilbur and vice versa. I was without my brother for 5 years and I don’t think that’s something I want to do again for a little while.
