"hah..?" Kim Dokja murmured as he stared at the blue screen in front of him.
[Hidden Scenario – A beautiful 'Companionship']

Clear Conditions: All the incarnations and constellations of Seoul Dome will be shown their 'comradeship' with their close companions on a big screen.
A poll will be held by the end of the screening with everyone being given permission to vote for their favourite pairing. The pair who gains the most votes will win.

Kim Dokja was impressed. Isn't this a bit too generous?
"A legendary grade story for best companionship? For a hidden scenario, isn't it a bit too generous? Not that I am complaining, of course." Jung Heewon voiced his exact thoughts on this matter.
The company was discussing their plans for the next scenario when the blue screen had suddenly popped up in front of them. Some of them wondered whether the main scenario was happening a bit too early until they read the 'hidden scenario' sign and thus, they had collectively let out a sigh of relief.
"By the sound of it, it looks like it'll be for pairs." Lee Seolhwa pointed out.
"Oh! Maybe Hyung and I will win!" Lee Gilyoung said excitedly.
"Bleh! Ahjussi and I will definitely be the winners!" Shin Yoosung said in a confident manner.
"I have known Hyung since the beginning!"
"I am Ahjussi's incarnation!"
And the kids started bickering yet again.
"Now, Now." Kim Dokja, who was sitting in between both of the children as per usual, patted their heads using both of his hands. They immediately softened under his touch with smiles gracing their features. Well, that was until they heard the next sentence. "There are also chances of gilyoung-ie and yoosung-ie winning like they did last time."
The smile slipped off their faces immediately as their smiles turned into frowns of disgust instead.
"No, we won't!"
Kim Dokja only smiled at that.
'though..'
Kim Dokja peered at the screen again.
'...why would a scenario like this happen in the middle of an important upcoming main scenario? something is definitely off...'
This time, he looked up instead.
'..could it be..?'
Yoo Joonghyuk, who was silent this whole time, crossed his arms. "This scenario just feels like a waste of time and energy."
"Oi! But what if somebody among us actually wins??" The ever greedy Han Sooyoung argued.
"I'd say.." Yoo Sangah began.
Everyone looked at her with Han Sooyoung paying special attention towards her next words.
"We do need a time of relaxation, do we not? From the looks of it, this scenario seems more for amusement purposes than anything serious. I do not see any harm in participating in it." Yoo Sangah smiled.
"I.. agree with Sangah-ssi as well!" Lee Hyunsung said.
Gong Pildu only grunted. It was neither a yes or a no.
"Master!! I agree with Sangah-unnie as well!! It would be a great opportunity to.." Lee Jihye grinned. It was a bit.. menacing. "..check out some interesting… camaraderie as well!!" She glanced at Yoo Joonghyuk and then Kim Dokja with that same creepy smile.
For some reason, Kim Dokja shuddered at that. 'Why does it feel as though she has taken it in a wrong way.. wait no, what if this scenario is actually to feed her with that purpose? If my guess is correct, this scenario must have been created by..'
Yoo Joonghyuk only sighed as he looked at Kim Dokja as though to ask for his opinion.
"Hmm.. I see no harm in it either." He said with an amiable smile.
His past concerns had already withered away after looking at his companions' expressions.
With how serious things have been, they did deserve some fun after all. The next scenario was near but not near enough for them to panic about it and since everyone else wanted to join the scenario so badly, he didn't see any harm in it either.
Especially since he had already taken a guess for who the culprit for this certain scenario may be. She must have spent quite a lot of probability, after all.

"Oh, this reminds me of the constellation banquet." Jung Heewon muttered out as the company looked around the space together.
Kim Dokja couldn't help but agree. Though, compared to the constellation banquet, he'd say that this scenario area was a lot more bigger. It was probably because a lot of incarnations will be joining here so the more space, the better. Though, kim dokja couldn't help but also wonder..
'Just how much probability did Uriel exactly spend for this?'
The entire area was like a huge dome. The tables were circular with chairs tucked in underneath them for anyone to pull out and sit down upon. There was a huge LED screen with what seemed to be like a.. stage like area. There was also a podium with a pair of microphones.
"woah, isn't this like an award show or something?" Lee Jihye looked around.
"I guess that is the point of it.." Lee Seolhwa nodded.
"This place is quite fancy as well." Gong Pildu looked around at the tasteful structure of the dome.
As the company was commenting on it, at the same moment, there were new portals opening everywhere with people entering one by one.
The place was slowly filling up with seemingly clueless people settling down on their seats.
"I guess we should go sit down as well." Lee Sookyung, who decided to accompany them into the scenario as well, calmly pointed out.
And thus, the kim dokja company huddled together at the same table.
Usually, Kim Dokja sat with the children but today, Yoo Joonghyuk was faster than Lee Gilyoung.
"...that sooty bastard..."
Needless to say, Lee Gilyoung was grumbling as he sat down in between Lee Jihye and Shin Yoosung.
"Ahem Ahem!" A Dokkaebi appeared once the incarnations settled down.
"Today, it'll be me accompanying you in this scenario as the 'dome master'!"
The 'dome master'.
'I guess it would be right to assume that he'll be showing us the imagery on the big screen.'
The dokkaebi looked discontent. He most likely didn't expect such a wide scale scenario which does not consist of people suffering. All in all, it was a pretty harmless scenario.
'I must give it to Uriel, whether it was intentional or not, she actually managed to give everyone a small moment of rest from the other scenarios which also gave the company the chance to actually relax during a scenario.' Kim Dokja thoughtfully looked around.
There were some people peeking over at their table which wasn't a surprise. They had gotten quite popular, after all.
"Ahem, Ahem!" The Dokkaebi cleared his throat again.
He then flew down to the podium and started speaking into the microphone.
"Without further ado, we will be starting the scenario!"
"This is a lot too much like award shows actually." Jung Heewon squinted her eyes at the Dokkaebi.
"The Dokkaebi is even wearing a fancy suit.." Yoo Sangah sweatdropped.
"And even his manner of speech is very similar to MCs!!" Lee Jihye pointed out.
Ignoring the murmurs surrounding the incarnations, the Dokkaebi continued, "There will be various rounds in which certain.. ahem, companions will be nominated! The various rounds will culminate into a final round in which the ultimate camaraderie will be decided by the constellations and incarnations alike by their votes!"

[Constellation 'Prisoner of The Golden Headband' is excited to witness some good camaraderie!]

[Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' is offended!]
The commentary from the constellations aside, What was with the throat clearing and clear pause before the 'companions'?
Lee Jihye, who was smiling gleefully the whole time of the speech, looked at Kim Dokja and gave him a thumbs up.
'well, this is terrifying.' Kim Dokja pretended he didn't see that.
"So, it will be multiple rounds!" Shin Yoosung looked at Kim Dokja. "Ahjussi, if it is about companionship, then doesn't that mean that a person could be shown to be a companion with many others?"
"..ah, I guess that's true?" Kim Dokja pondered. Shin Yoosung's thinking wasn't wrong.
"Then hyung and I can also-!!"
"Tsk Tsk Tsk" Lee Jihye cut Lee Gilyoung off and shook her head like an old woman imparting wisdom. "It's about a person's one true companion... I am sure of that."

"Tch.." Lee Gilyoung glared at Yoo Joonghyuk.
Yoo Joonghyuk just raised his eyebrow at that.
"For example-!"
Dread filled Kim Dokja for some reason as Lee Jihye opened her mouth again while looking at Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja mischievously.
Thankfully, right at that moment, she was cut off by the dokkaebi's loud voice.
"We'll be beginning the first round!"
The screen lit up.
"The nominations for the first round are beginning now!"
And then, a video started playing.
Lee Hyunsung and Jung Heewon appeared on the screen.
"The first candidates of the first round are incarnation 'Jung Heewon' and incarnation 'Lee Hyunsung'!"
It was the same video as the constellation banquet where Lee Hyunsung first learnt steel transformation in order to save Jung Heewon.
Jung Heewon, who was pinching her forehead ever since the video started playing, sighed. "They could have at least changed the content of the video, it's the same thing."
Meanwhile, Lee Hyunsung was blushing.
A few cheers erupted at the scene.
[Several constellations are cheering for the incarnation 'Lee Hyunsung' and 'Jung Heewon'!]
[Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' says she is proud of her incarnation!]
[Constellation 'Master of Steel' is nodding his head in agreement with this union.]

Lee Hyunsung's blush increased its intensity and even Jung Heewon coughed at that.
"True~" Han Sooyoung jumped in. "How romantic! How romantic! You two are like the birds of the sam-"
"Han Sooyoung, shut up before I actually kill you." Jung Heewon glared at her.
Yoo Sangah covered her light laugh with her hand while Lee Seolhwa smiled at their shenanigans.
Han Sooyoung looked at Yoo Sangah laughing before continuing on with her tirade of pissing Jung Heewon off.
It was a fast glance but Kim Dokja noticed it.
'hmm.. we really need to revise some rules in the company..'
"I mean.. Well, she isn't wrong, unnie!" Lee Jihye also jumped in at the opportunity.
"You two do have a very sweet chemistry." Lee Sookyung agreed.
Even Jung Heewon had a slight flush at this point.
Meanwhile, the nominations on the screen which were still ongoing finally came to an end.
"Dear constellations and incarnations, please place your votes!"
A hologram screen similar to the scenario screens appeared in front of them.
"And please remember, you cannot vote for your own pairings or you'll be disqualified from this scenario!"
"But I didn't get to look at the other nominations.." Jung Heewon covered her face with a groan.
"Let's just give.. random votes?" Lee Hyunsung offered.
"Yeah.. let's do that." She sighed.
Most of the people at the table snickered at that.
--"And the incarnations who won the first round is.. incarnation 'Jung Heewon' and 'Lee Hyunsung'!"
Everyone started clapping.
The not-couple were both embarrassed but the kim dokja company were cheering.
-"Congratulations Jung Heewon unnie and Lee Hyunsung oppa!"
-"Congratulations noona and hyung!"
-"I told you, you two are like the birds-"
"You're annoying, please shut up."
"Congratulations, I told you that you two have a sweet chemistry." Lee Sookyung smiled.
Kim Dokja coughed, "Congratulations, I knew you two would win."
"...hearing that from you feels odd somehow." Jung Heewon sighed again in embarrassment.
Lee Hyunsung had a shutdown.

The other rounds continued in mundane manner with another member of Kim Dokja company not appearing again.
"Hey.. this got boring." Han Sooyoung sighed.
"I already told you that this scenario feels unnecessary." Yoo Joonghyuk also sighed.
"I'm sure that there is a hidden star of the show yet to appear." Lee Jihye said as if she was a calm cultivator on her road to ascension.
"Though it is boring..." She groaned. "Why can't master appear soon?"

Yoo Joonghyuk looked at her, "why would I appear?"
Lee Jihye smiled mischievously, "because.."
She was cut off for the second time from the Dokkaebi.
"For the 5th round of nominations, the third nominees are-!"
Yoo Sangah and Han Sooyoung appeared on the screen this time.
"Hah??" Han Sooyoung stared at the screen with a befuddled expression.
Yoo Sangah blinked at the screen.
And then, the video began.
It showed how Yoo Sangah and Han Sooyoung disagreed with each other a lot in the beginning of the scenarios but how they slowly gained trust in each other, learning to rely on each other even more as time passed.

The screen then showed a groaning Han Sooyoung with her head laying on Yoo Sangah's lap.
Yoo Sangah was shown sighing.
-I told you to be careful in that dungeon yet you didn't listen. The contents of the scenarios were clearly suspicious and we were supposed to stick together.
Han Sooyoung narrowed her eyes.
-wouldn't it be better if we stayed away from each other?
Yoo Sangah tilted her head.
-why would you think that?
Han Sooyoung had a pinched expression on her face.
-you- well, you don't have to pretend that you don't dislike me.
Yoo Sangah sighed.
-I thought we had left this matter behind long ago but.. I see..
Yoo Sangah then put the palm of her hand on the side of Han Sooyoung's cheek. It had a scratch and Yoo Sangah was most likely applying ointment on her wounds.
-I don't hate you nor do I dislike you. I realised that.. well.. while I was iffy about you in the beginning when you joined us, it is obvious that you.. care about dokja ssi in your own way.
Han Sooyoung, who was paying attention to the palm on her cheek, then stared at her.
-care about him, how?
Her voice was oddly calm at that moment.
Yoo Sangah just smiled.
-During this apocalypse, I have become better at reading people, you see.
Han Sooyoung's lips trembled.
-I.. Well, ahem, is that the only reason you don't dislike me?
Yoo Sangah smiled widened again.
-of course not.
Han Sooyoung shivered at that smile as she looked away.
-I.. don't dislike you either, by the way. You probably thought that, didn't you?
Yoo Sangah had a tender expression on her face.
-How did you know?
Han Sooyoung snickered.
-I have also become good at reading people, you see."
Yoo Sangah laughed at that.]
Silence descended upon the table.
[Several constellations are shocked by this beautiful companionship!]

[Constellation 'Abyssal Black Flame Dragon' is sticking his tongue out at his incarnation!]

[Constellation 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband' is nodding his head towards this wonderful camaraderie.]

Meanwhile in the dome, a few people were even crying.
That was like a scene out of a romance movie.
"What great camaraderie!" A girl a few tables away from them cried out.
"When will that be me!?" Someone else cried out.
Han Sooyoung sputtered, "these bastards.. using this scene-!!" She seemed embarrassed.
Yoo Sangah coughed as she also looked away.
Jung Heewon was the one clapping this time, "you two are like birds on the sa-"
"Please shut up."
"What? I am just stating the truth here, Han Sooyoung-ssi." Jung Heewon grinned.
Lee Jihye had seen a new world, "s-s-such greatness.. It's almost comparable to master and-"
Lee Jihye was cut off for the third time.
"And now it's the time to place your votes again!"
"This seems a bit too intentional at this point!" Lee Jihye complained.
"And the winner of this round is the incarnation 'Yoo Sangah' and 'Han Sooyoung'!"
Shin Yoosung was clapping, "you two looked so cool unnie! I also want to find a close companion like that someday!"
Han Sooyoung sputtered, "y-you guys-"
"Congratulations." Yoo Joonghyuk said it sincerely.
"Yes, congratulations Han Sooyoung ssi and Yoo Sangah ssi." Kim Dokja even had the gall to be respectful in his tone.
"Can you two shut up!? Even you two are-!"
"Ahem, yes, thank you." Yoo Sangah just smiled.
Han Sooyoung went silent as she stared at Yoo Sangah with a baffled expression.
"I mean, everyone is complimenting our camaraderie, we should thank them, right?" Her smile was angelic.
Too angelic to be considered angelic actually.
Han Sooyoung looked away as her ears flushed, "whatever."
Kim Dokja had seen a new world, looking at Han Sooyoung who was actually acting docile towards someone.
'Are they really not dating??? That can't be!'

The rounds continued. It was uneventful for the kim dokja company for the most part.
Until-
"And the second nominee for this round is- Incarnation Kim Dokja and..!"
Lee Jihye's eyes lit up.
"Huh?" The Dokkaebi was confused.
The screen suddenly glitched and it showed a figure of a young man next to Kim Dokja.
An unfamiliar young man.
"Incarnation Kim Dokja and.. Incarnation.. Sung Jinwoo?"
[Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' is gasping.]
[Constellation 'Abyssal Black Flame Dragon' is interested in this new development.]
[Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' finds this situation to be very suspicious.]
[Constellation 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband' is pulling his hair.]
[Constellation 'Bald General of Justice' is scratching his bald head.]

Confusion descended upon the hall.
"Sung Jinwoo?" An incarnation said in confusion.
"Kim Dokja." Yoo Joonghyuk looked at Kim Dokja with a questioning look.
"Ahjussi, have you met this person?" Lee Jihye asked confusedly.
"..I don't know.. anyone with that name?" Kim Dokja was equally confused.
[Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' is sighing in relief.]

"I do not think we have met a person like this." Lee Seolhwa added.
"And isn't this.. poll based on camaraderie? How can this brat be seen with someone whom he hasn't even met?" Gong Pildu grunted.
Lee Sookyung was silently staring at the screen with a thoughtful expression.
Clearly, something was wrong here.
"Somehow, I feel a dislike for that bastard even without knowing him." Lee Gilyoung grumbled.
"I agree." Shin Yoosung frowned. "This feels a bit too.. creepy."
Yoo Sangah who was analysing the clip at that moment muttered, "However.. even if we haven't met this person.. and even if his face isn't very visible.. this small clip still feels so.."
Real.
Kim Dokja is seen laughing at something the other man said to him as they seem to be exploring some kind of.. cave-like place.
Yoo Joonghyuk, after confirming that Kim Dokja in fact did not know this person, kept glaring at the flickering screen which seemed to be stuck on the loop.
It didn't even have any audio for people to know exactly what is going on in the video.
'and..'
Kim Dokja looked too carefree in that video as well. For him to laugh like that, he hasn't done that in a while.
The Young man's face was glitched and nobody could exactly see his face properly.
Yet, he seemed close to the 'Kim Dokja' in the video.
"Hey, are you sure you haven't met anyone like him?" Han Sooyoung looked at Kim Dokja.
"If I knew someone like that, then you guys would most likely know him as well. I haven't met a figure like this before." Kim Dokja calmly responded.
'Sung Jinwoo..'
Kim Dokja is sure that he hasn't met a person with that name.
Right at that moment-
The screen flickered again and the nominations suddenly changed back to normal.
The Dokkaebi cleared his throat, "we have a message from the bureau that it was a mere glitch created by the system.. somehow.
[Several constellations are baffled at this sort of strange elaborate glitch.]
[Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' has his eyes on the bureau for a better explanation.]

And then the Dokkaebi continued on with the next nomination, though the next nomination did not consist of Kim Dokja.
But it didn't change the fact that.. something strange had happened.
And Yoo Joonghyuk's gaze did not leave Kim Dokja after that.

"And onto the last round of nominees!"
Jung Heewon sighed, "finally."
"We have reached the last round before the finals! I'm sure there'll be something very worthwhile for us to see!" Lee Jihye was excited.
'hmm..'
Kim Dokja had noticed something.
'All the nominations we have seen so far.. They consisted of people with strong bonds. Bonds strong enough for them to potentially have something romantic in the future. It was quite obvious from the very beginning but as we have reached the final round, it has become exceedingly obvious.'
He stared at Lee Seolhwa.
'Though this is the third round, the chemistry between them is very apparent.'
He then looked at Yoo Joonghyuk who was still staring at him after the Sung Jinwoo fiasco.
Kim Dokja raised an eyebrow at him and Yoo Joonghyuk grunted and looked away.
"And the fourth and final nominee are.."
Lee Jihye had her hands clasped together.
"Incarnation 'Yoo Joonghyuk' and constellation 'Kim Dokja'!!"
Huh?
"Huh?" Kim Dokja repeated his thoughts in words.
"YES!!" Lee Jihye was gleeful.
[Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' is cheering!!]

And then, the clip started playing.
At the beginning, it was the same clip as the clip from the constellation banquet.
But then..
['Incarnation Kim Dokja will be killed by the person he loves most.']
Lee Sookyung's eyes darkened.
The entire dome went silent.
[-It was a really great story, isn't that right?
Yoo Joonghyuk stared down at Kim Dokja.
Kim Dokja who got stabbed in the heart by Yoo Joonghyuk's own sword.
Kim Dokja laughed sorrowfully at the sky and then looked at Yoo Joonghyuk.
-Let's meet again, Yoo Joonghyuk.
-Kim Dokja! No! Kim Dokja!
Yoo Joonghyuk grabbed him by his neck but it was too late.]
The video then showed moments in which Yoo Joonghyuk was looking at Kim Dokja when Kim Dokja didn't notice.
And Kim Dokja looking at Yoo Joonghyuk when Yoo Joonghyuk didn't notice.

Silence descended upon the hall.
And then the sobbing started.
[Several constellations are tearing up at this great camaraderie!]
[Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' is feeling destroyed.]
[Constellation 'Abyssal Black Flame Dragon' is saying he absolutely did not tear up!]
[Constellation 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband' needs a handkerchief.]
[Constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire' offers constellation 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband' a handkerchief.]
[Constellation 'Prisoner of the Golden Headband' is thanking constellation 'Demon-like Judge of Fire'.]
[Constellation 'Goryeo's First Sword' nods his head towards these two companions.]
[Constellation 'Bald General of Justice' is wiping his tears with the same handkerchief he wipes his precious bald head with.]
[Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' is scoffing.]

A lot of people were wiping their eyes after looking at the video.
Kim Dokja wasn't willing to look at anyone as he just stared down at the table.
Yoo Joonghyuk was intensely looking at Kim Dokja.
It was an awkward situation.
All the company members were currently emotional after witnessing that scene again.
That scene still haunted them.
Lee Sookyung, who wasn't there during the demon king selection, felt her heart clench at that scene.
Aside from Kim Dokja, she was the only one who knew who would be the cause of Kim Dokja's death.
And despite her son being alive and healthy in front of her, it didn't change the things which had happened.
She also knew that her son was in love with the protagonist of this world.
The protagonist who had been there for her son when she wasn't able to.
"And the winner of this round is…"
Suddenly, someone a few tables away said, "It has to be Joongdok!"

[Constellation 'Bald General of Justice' is waving his wet handkerchief in happiness.]
[Constellation 'Secretive Plotter' is baffled.]

Everyone cheered, meanwhile some people were still crying.
"I always admired their camaraderie but this made me believe that no camaraderie is better than theirs!" Somebody else shouted.
Uh.. isn't that a bit too much?
Looking at how the others were reacting calmed down the gloomy atmosphere at their table.
"...I knew that that sooty bastard would be the one winning this with you hyung." Lee Gilyoung grumbled.
"I agree! It was very obvious!!" Shin Yoosung nodded.
"I KNEW!!" Lee Jihye gleefully exclaimed.
"They haven't won yet, don't be so excited." Han Sooyoung grumbled.
"But I know they'll win!"
Yoo Sangah laughed, "Jihye-ah, some of us others are nominated as well."
Lee Jihye blushed, "unnie! I know! You guys are very romantic too but-!"
"Wait what did you say about roman-"
Yoo Sangah cut Han Sooyoung off with a smile, "I know."
Yoo Joonghyuk did not even react to the word 'romantic'!
Kim Dokja was about to die.
This whole thing had unravelled something within him and he didn't know how to feel.
He cleared his throat, "well-"
