Chapter Text
Title: Code ReWaken
Time frame: Code Lyoko. Post season 4.
Outline:
Warriors are in grade 10. Sophomores. Learn Xana is back.
Jeremy checks his laptop. Lyoko is still offline. But the news is filled with images of Xana monsters attacking. Military suffering losses.
Warriors go to the factory and turn on the supercomputer.
Aelita father left a message before he died. Warning about a partner that worked with him. Someone who made him nervous because of his blatant greed. Someone who constantly tried to out do his work and as such was blind to the dangers of what they were doing.
He fears one say this man's work would release Xana from his prison and made one more program, just in case. Activated by Aelita's code.
The team go to a tower in Lyoko. Aelita activates the program.
Activates Project: Code SPARTA.
Allows Jeremy to virtualize the warriors into the real world using the towers. The towers correspond to points in the real world, using latitude and longitude.
Warriors are in their season 4 outfits. William is welcomed back but the trauma means he isn't okay going out to fight Xana's monsters just yet. He gets chosen to guard Jeremy and the supercomputer from trespassers or assassins.
Team investigates the towers' connection, learns about virtualizing in the real world. They practice in deserted locations and testing the limits of their virtual bodies in the real world.
Jeremy learns that his virus is still in effect, keeping Xana from just taking over. Acting like white blood cells attacking a foreign body. It keeps Xana from just attacking the Supercomputer where the team is located and keeps the AI from accessing the world's nukes.
Jeremey creates an update to the virus, giving it a boost and slowing Xana's attacks. Giving humanity some breathing room.
Odd suggest 'hero names'.
"Well, he's got a point." Ulrich agrees, "do we really want the military breathing down our necks for this? Or worse?"
The team comes up with names. (Jeremy=Einstein...)
First mission has the team in Brazil. Built in translation system with their virtual bodies.
Military is surprised at kids showing up out of thin air. Even more surprised when they take out the monsters with near ease.
Jeremy leads Aelita to a hidden terminal within the base. She places her hand on it and the screen lights up with a familiar script.
Code Lyoko.
This purges Xana from the system and destroys the monsters. Return to the past initiated. However, because a large amount of power is used to virtualize the team into the real world, the return to the past is limited and everyone remembers the events that happened.
Military perspective is varied.
Everyone wants information. Everyone is frustrated that no one knows anything. Until Odd opens his mouth.
He mentions 'some jealous science dude let the big bad wolf out and now here we are.'
Facial recognition fails to work on the team due to a program that Jeremey created. It is a temporary measure.
The team discovers how Xana survived. Also, how to keep Xana from escaping the Xana Virus. They need to find the other supercomputer he made, shut it down, purge the system, and relaunch the Xana Virus 2.0 version.
So, the team is fighting Xana and trying to find the 'science dude' who saved the crazy AI from permanent death. Eventually, they slow burn trust some of the world's military to help them.
Eventual end is the Team plus large military force launch an attack on Xana HQ.
Defeat Xana's army, launch the upgraded virus, and claim victory.
Endgame: Aelita/Jeremey, Ulrich/Yumi, Odd/William or Ulrich/Yumi/William, Odd/OC, or Aelita/Jeremey/William.
