Summary
The year is 1986, and the United States Navy is concerned about homosexual activity within its ranks. So, they decide to re-launch a program that they had originally tried in 1919: sending in enlisted decoys to cruise the Navy in order to catch queer sailors. Mav and Goose could use the extra money, so they all but jump at the opportunity to… ahem… pretend to be gay at Top Gun. After all, twenty dollars is twenty dollars…
The issue is… Maverick and Goose are very much actually gay. So pretending to be gay should be a breeze for them. They get some money out of it, and they essentially get a free pass to sleep with as many sailors as they want. The difficult part is not falling for the men they’re supposed to be trying to catch.
A not-so-serious, not-so-safe-for-work satire.
