Dracula/Vlad - 400+ (who's counting?)
That's about it with the MC's
If you want a more clear summary, read ahead. If you just want to get on with the story dammit then skip this entirely i guess.
The first chapter's timeline is the year of Sypha and Trevor travelling Wallachia to kill monsters after the battle with drac (except this time without any romantic interest in eachother) we ignore season 4 and the whole shenanigans with fighting death, yes Alucard is still lonely but no sumi and taka coming to traumatize him in this story thank you very much
(Also if you were wondering how Alucard was 16 when Lisa died but 18 in the present, here's the explaination)
When Lisa died (late October) Alucard was 16, very soon to be 17(in November)
Drac waited a year(from October to October, hence a year) before releasing the hordes.
Alucard spent more than a year inside the coffin under gresit where he had already turned 17.
The attacks only started after a year and continued for what I'm gonna assume 4-5 months (till Feb-Mar) before Trevor & Sypha woke up Alucard (18 years old, since November had already passed).
Then Dracula was killed a month later (they spent a month researching in the Belmont hold) Trevor and Sypha travelled for 6 months. So the story is based in the beginning of October.
(Also, for the sake of the plot, let's forget canon as usual and pretend 16 year old Adrian looks younger than 16 and not adult-like. Imagine he looks like how we saw at the end of season 2 in Alucard's flashback after Trev and sypha left. Just trust me, k?)
Alright, now that the timeline of age is cleared, let's continue the rest of the explaination;
Both Trevor and Alucard are in denial about feelings for eachother, maybe this little trip to the past will help clear Trevor's head and they'll finally confess to eachother after Trevor returns. Who knows? (They will)
____________________________________________
Nearly an year after the grand fight with Vlad Dracula Tepes;
"So this is, what? Supposed to send me back in time."
"Send you back in time, yes, precisely 6 months back." Sypha clarified to the Belmont.
"For what exactly?"
"There was mass destruction taking place in Wallachia even during our battle with Dracula. The only way to prevent the aftermath would be to stop the destruction from happening in the first place." Sypha explained, "The usual rule of time travelling is, of course, don't be seen by your past self but we do not need to worry about that as we both know our past selves were at the castle so there really is no reason to not do this, I mean-"
"Sypha." Trevor interrupted her and she shut her mouth. "Breath." He instructed.
"Oh yes of course," She took a deep breath in and breathed out. "Right."
"You're nervous." Trevor stated as a matter of fact.
"Well yes, this is time travelling we're talking about."
"And we both can't travel, why?" Trevor sat back on the chair and crossed his arm.
"Because you'll be using this to travel," She held up the artifact, a locket which mirrored a clock except instead of 12 hours, the clock consisted of 12 months. And could only be turned anti clockwise.
"And the locket only has enough energy to transport one at a time. Using it to go too far back in time or staying too long can exhaust it's energy, which can take upto 1 to 5 months to recharge itself." She explained the mechanism of the time travelling locket.
Trevor winced, "You sure you wanna give it's responsibility to me?"
"Well I don't want to but I don't have much of a choice. I can only help so much. When you return, I'll take your place and travel back in time."
"It still sounds dangerous as fuck."
"It won't be dangerous if we use it correctly. It's really not that hard, Trevor." Sypha sighed in frustration, "Alucard could've explained this much better to you." She muttered.
Trevor's eyes turned cold, "What does that mean?"
Sypha didn't back down but did have the courtesy to look a little guilty for bringing him up. "What I meant was, despite you both fighting most of the time, he still managed to explain things and bond with you in a lot of ways I could never."
Trevor didn't meet her eyes, "Well he's not here. Do what you gotta do."
Sypha sighed but Trevor still didn't meet her eyes.
Ever since they had left after the war, Trevor couldn't help but get a lump in his throat whenever the blond was mentioned. He didn't know why. It was weird. Embarassing, really. Trevor Belmont getting teary eyed over a parting. Parting with a vampire, no less.
They had asked him once, to come along, but Alucard shook his head without uttering a word. Now that he thought about it, he actually hadn't spoken much—if at all—after Dracula was killed and for some lunatic reason, insisted on staying back at the castle, but for what?
Trevor knew Alucard had some sort of connection with Dracula, he just didn't have any idea why.
He didn't know a lot of things about the man actually. He didn't know Alucard's age or name—considering that wasn't his actual name, because let's be honest? Who names their child the opposite of Dracula—which was another point, Trevor didn't even know if Alucard had parents or a childhood where someone had the chance to name him.
"I am known to the Wallachians as Alucard." The blond had introduced himself as so and did not elaborate further. That almost made it sound like he was just created by some sort of sorcery and popped into adulthood since birth. He couldn't picture the prim and poised Alucard as a child anyway. Trevor let out a snort—at the image of the blond being a lanky awkward teenager—which startled him out of his thoughts.
I really went off topic didn't I? He thought and turned back to the woman dressed in blue speaker robes, who had her nose in some book.
"Alright fine, when do we do this?" Trevor stood up with a sigh.
Sypha eyed him, "Whenever you're ready." She then handed him the watch and Trevor hastily put the locket on, without looking at it.
"Just gonna make sure I have all weapons ready." Trevor went around the room gathering stuff and hanged the bag loosely around his shoulder.
BAM!
A blast went through and the roof of the hut flew away. Trevor and Sypha whipped their heads around for their assailant. A night creature.
It had the ability to create strong gusts of wind, strong enough to blow off roofs apparently. Sypha prepared her icicles and Trevor uncoiled his whip.
This wouldn't be hard, they had dealt with worse before.
The creature blew a strong wing in their direction and Sypha dispatched it with a ice barrier. Not wasting a moment, she send a bolt of thunder flying through the wind and hit the creature sharp in the chest. Before it could recover, Trevor twirled his morningstar and wrapped the creature around the whip, restricting any movement from it and making it snarl. The end of the morningstar glowed and the creature glowed from the inside before blowing to bits.
The blow was strong enough to put Sypha and Trevor off their feet. It was also strong enough for them to not notice when the clock's hand on Trevor's chest did a full anti clockwise rotation, in addition to turning 5 more hands.
"Are you alright?" Trevor got up on his feet and pulled the woman up.
"Yeah." She dusted her cloak and looked in the direction of the town.
There were more of such creatures. "You must make haste. This time travelling will take a lot of your energy. We cannot have you wasting it on these creatures."
"I have enough energy to fight off-" Trevor started protesting but Sypha put up a finger, silencing him.
"Now, Trevor."
She did not wait for his answer before she sprinted towards the mayhem, leaving Trevor. The Belmont sighed in frustration at the woman's stubbornness and picked up the locket from his chest. He frowned.
"Was the hand at seven before?" He muttered at himself then rolled his eyes, "Probably. Sypha would've mentioned otherwise."
Trevor quickly turned the hand of the clock six times to travel six months back until the hand stopped at one.
"Hm." He narrowed his eyes but sighed, Probably my nerves. He assured himself.
Placing a finger over the crown, he took a deep breath, counted to 10, then-

With a blinding light, any traces of the man in the room, disappeared.
