Chapter 30: Thank you!

Chapter Text

At long last, the epilogue is posted and Raphael and Tav’s story is over!

I just wanted to give a quick thank you for all of you who have read this — from those who have been here since the beginning, to those who stumbled upon this later in its development, and the few of you who are reading this long after it’s completion. Thank you so much for sticking through it and choosing to read my work, you really have no idea how much that means. Even if you’ve never commented, just know your presence is very appreciated!

But I would like to give a special thank you to the commenters, especially those of you who have been leaving beautiful comments from the very beginning to the end (you know who you are) — I promise you, this work would not be finished without you. You guys have always given me the motivation to keep writing it and I thank you so much for taking the time to express your enjoyment.

This work has gone through so many weird directional choices and it’s so clear there was a lack of planning but I had so much fun writing it and I’m so happy so many of you had just as much fun reading it!

However, this is not the end for this universe; I still am planning to write a prequel regarding the events before the time loops and how Raphael and Tav originally fell in love. Down the track (and it could be a couple of years depending on my motivation) I’m planning a rewrite to this story because there were a few themes I wanted to explore that I just didn’t. I love this work but I feel like I could write it a lot better if I planned it all out and took more care into each chapter because some chapters in this just aren’t as good as the others and I can admit that. I’ll be sure to update on this story when I finally get to the rewrite.

I’m also writing another story inspired by the alternate time line Tav and the Helldusk warrior. It’s going to follow a Tav who is the chosen of Asmodeus and has been sent by him to stop the Mind Flayers and the Elder Brain, which will involve a lot of lying to our lovely companions about who she is.

I have two other Baldur’s Gate three works: “The red means I love you” which is another Raphael centred one but with the Dark Urge and it’s a lot darker than this story. And then “I hope you burn” which is an Astarion and Dark Urge centred one. They’ve both been fairly slow to update but I’m getting to them.

Anyways, enough self advertisement — thank you so much for reading my story. I appreciate every single one of you.

I hope to see you guys in another adventure xxx
