You're a new corps member that recently finished final selection, you are trying different breathing styles, you believe that you should have been a Kakushi due to your lack in sword skills, you're one of your first missions that had another member, your mission takes place in a small mountain town, the Kakushi who where already there got you guys a private house for all the members there.
After awhile you realize that you are the only swordsmen there, you start asking around and someone tells you that you're working with Genya Shinazugawa, they tell you that they aren't sure where he is but that the reason that he was chosen was because that he can't use
breathing styles but still makes the best of it and was hoping that you could learn something from him.
Around 5ish PM you are in your room eating some noodles and you hear the door open and close, when you look up you see a guy
around 16 with a rather small sword, he just stands there for a minute looking in the hallway that's to his right before he finally looks at you and you notice his face crunch and h glares at you.
Hello, I'm Y/N, are you Genya?
He stays silent for a moment before he looks away and starts walking towards the hallway.
He stops in front of you but he doesn't look at you, he starts muttering something loud enough to hear, "Don't call me by my first name." You think that's what he said.
"Oh I'm sorry" you say in a similar pitch as he was talking in but a little bit louder.
He starts walking towards the hallway again before you could say something else.
"I have more noodles if you hungry." You managed to say before he goes into his room and closes the door.
After standing there for a moment, you turn around and walk to your room for the night. Even though nothing happened tonight, you still have the whole mission to get closer.
