Chapter Text

Class 1-A had just experienced an event that none of them would ever forget—seeing their fiercely independent and volatile classmate, Bakugou Katsuki, not only smile but let himself be practically manhandled by three strangers. As the door slammed shut behind the trio of "friends," the students of Class 1-A exchanged wide-eyed looks, struggling to process what had just happened.

“I don’t even know what to say,” Kaminari muttered, still in shock. His hands were trembling slightly, still in disbelief from seeing Bakugou actually smiling—genuinely smiling. “Was that… Was that really Bakugou?”

“I think it was, but I don’t get it,” Jirou added, rubbing her temples as though trying to erase the image from her mind. “Like, what kind of friends are those? He didn’t explode, he didn’t yell at them—what happened to the Bakugou we know?”

"I think we just saw something dangerous,” Sero mused, his usual mischievous grin replaced with confusion. "He's been kidnapped by… who even are those guys? Do we need to call the cops?"

Iida, ever the responsible one, was pacing back and forth with his hands behind his back. “We should not panic, but... this is beyond my understanding. That was not our Bakugou, and those were certainly not just any random visitors. We need to investigate who they are.”

Yaoyorozu, still in a state of bewilderment, was the first to speak logically. “I think it would be best if we wait. We don’t know what their intentions are, and charging in without context could cause more harm than good.”

Kirishima, who had been trying to protect Bakugou just moments ago, dropped his shoulders and sighed. “I can’t believe this… We need to find out who they are, and make sure Bakugou’s okay.”

The group fell silent, still reeling from what they had just witnessed. No one knew what to make of the bizarre situation, and each of them seemed to be piecing together different fragments of information.

And then, as if on cue, Bakugou’s voice rang out from the hallway once more, this time much closer.

“I FUCKING SWEAR TO GOD, IF YOU GUYS DON'T PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW—"

Laughter followed, and the entire class winced in sympathy as they heard Bakugou’s voice crack with a mixture of indignation and what almost sounded like helpless amusement. None of them dared to move, unsure of how to respond. It was like they were witnessing a completely different side of Bakugou they never thought existed.

Mina, still clutching Kirishima’s arm in shock, turned her wide eyes toward him. “Do you think he’s okay?”

Kirishima was silent for a long moment before shaking his head. “I don’t know. I really don’t know. But whatever’s happening, it’s definitely not normal.”

“You’re telling me,” Tokoyami muttered darkly, his black feathers rustling slightly. "This is... unsettling. I’ve never seen Bakugou so… subdued."

Yaoyorozu, looking as though she might faint from the overload of information, nodded. “I think we can all agree that we saw something very unexpected today”

After a few moments of stunned silence, Sero, with his usual grin returning, spoke up again. “I’m not gonna lie—I’m just here for the drama. This is better than watching one of those soap operas.”

The rest of the class couldn't help but chuckle at that, a little of the tension in the room breaking. Still, there was one lingering question on everyone’s mind: who were these people? And how had they managed to do what none of them could? Break through Bakugou’s emotional defenses.

As the hours dragged on, Class 1-A grew increasingly restless. It was getting late, and visiting hours were nearly over, yet those so-called friends of Bakugou showed no signs of leaving. The tension in the common room was thick enough to cut with a knife.

Todoroki had resorted to writing conspiracy theories on his whiteboard, each one more absurd than the last. "They poisoned his food and are blackmailing him," he muttered, underlining the statement aggressively.

Yaoyorozu sighed, rubbing her temples. "Todoroki-kun, that’s highly unlikely. Aizawa-sensei did sign off on their visit."

"What if they forged his signature? Or worse—bribed him?" Todoroki countered, eyes narrowing in suspicion.

"Sensei would never accept a bribe!" Iida exclaimed, chopping the air dramatically.

Todoroki simply nodded. "Yes. Which is why it must have been mind control."

Before anyone could argue, another loud crash echoed from Bakugou’s room, followed by a burst of laughter. It sent chills down everyone’s spines.

“Maybe we should just… wait it out?” Kirishima offered hesitantly. “I mean, they are his friends, right?”

“Are we sure about that?” Sero muttered. “Because last I checked, we’re his friends, and I’ve never seen him act like that with us.”

"I don't like this," Jirou muttered, gripping her earlobe like a stress ball. "It's weird. Bakugou doesn’t laugh like that."

"He barely even laughs at all," Kaminari added, looking genuinely unsettled.

Even Iida, who would normally march up there to enforce the rules, hesitated. Something about this whole situation was intimidating. Class 1-A prided themselves on knowing Bakugou, on understanding his habits, his moods, his rage-filled rants. But this? This was new, and they weren’t sure how to handle it.

Then, salvation arrived in the form of Midoriya.

The moment he walked into the common room, freshly back from visiting his mother, he was ambushed by his classmates.

"Midoriya! Thank god, you’re here!"

"Three sketchy dudes showed up!"

"They hugged Bakugou! Made him smile!"

"They carried him like a damn sack of potatos!"

Midoriya blinked, his brain struggling to process the avalanche of words. "Wait—what?"

"They took him to his room, and they’re still there! We keep hearing crashes and laughter, Midoriya. Laughter! From Bakugou!" Kirishima looked genuinely distressed.

Midoriya’s eyes widened. "Kacchan… smiled?" Huh that’s weird, he didn’t do that so openly anymore.

Before anyone could respond, the door to Bakugou’s room finally swung open. The three mysterious visitors stepped out, looking completely at ease. And walking beside them, stretching his arms as if he had just finished a good workout, was Bakugou Katsuki.

That wasn’t the shocking part.

What sent the class into collective cardiac arrest was the soft, laughter that spilled from Bakugou’s lips. It was light, genuine, and—it physically hurt to admit—kind of cute.

Mina gasped so hard she nearly choked. "Oh my god. Someone record this."

Kaminari fumbled for his phone, but his hands were shaking too much to get a steady grip.

The guy with the undercut smirked as he took in their stunned expressions. "Damn, Kitikat. You really did a number on them. They look like they just saw a ghost."

"I mean, can you blame them?" the tattooed guy added. "Who would’ve thought that cheerful little Katsuki could pull off a scowl for so long?"

"Now that you remind me—pay up, Tsubasa," Bakugou said, holding out his hand expectantly.

The winged guy—Tsubasa—groaned dramatically, clutching his chest like he’d been betrayed. "You wound me, Tsuki. But damn, man… How did you even do it?"

"It was hard as hell, but worth it." Bakugou smirked, flexing the absurdly large wad of cash Tsubasa begrudgingly handed him.

Class 1-A, still recovering from the first round of shock, collectively lost their minds.

"Wait—WHAT BET?!"

Bakugou ignored them. But then, as the three guys reached the dorm entrance, something happened that pushed 1-A into complete emotional ruin.

Before walking out, Kariage, Deisha, and Tsubasa each leaned in and pressed quick kisses to Bakugou’s forehead and cheeks.

Bakugou’s entire face exploded into a violent shade of red.

"OI—THE HELL?!" He stumbled back, scowling, but his usual venom was noticeably absent.

"Bye-bye, Suki~" Tsubasa teased, winking as they walked out.

As they passed Midoriya on their way out, Deisha clapped him on the back with a grin. "Yo, Deku! Long time, no see."

Midoriya sighed, shaking his head. "Hey, Deisha. Still causing trouble, I see."

"Wouldn’t be us if we weren’t!" Kariage added with a laugh before they disappeared down the hall.

The second the door shut, Bakugou turned on his heels and ran. Like, full sprint. A blur of explosive panic retreating to his room.

The class stood frozen, their brains collectively melting.

"WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!" Mina shrieked, spinning around to Midoriya. "Midoriya. Explain yourself. Right now."

All eyes turned to him, filled with pure, unfiltered confusion.

Midoriya sighed, rubbing his temples. "Okay… So those guys? That’s Kariage—the undercut dude, Deisha—the tattoo guy, and Tsubasa—the winged one. They’re Kacchan’s best friends."

A beat of silence.

"...WHAT?!"

Midoriya nodded. "We went to the same middleschool. They were all really close growing up. Wild, chaotic, inseparable. People called them ‘The Hurricane’ for a reason. And, well… Bakugou actually likes them. He enjoys their company."

Kaminari looked personally offended. "Wait..are you telling me Bakugou’s not actually this grumpy hard-ass, and all of this was because of some stupid bet?!" He had just remembered what that dude -Tsubasa?- said.

Midoriya nodded. "Preety much yea, a year ago Tsubasa bet him he couldn’t last a month being ‘serious.’ Kacchan is ridiculously competitive, so he took it way too far."

Mina looked like her entire worldview had shattered. "So what you’re saying is… our Bakugou is actually a chill, chaotic gremlin?"

"Definitely not chill, but yes."

There was a long, painful silence.

Then, Kaminari clenched his fists. "I’m gonna murder the dude who made that bet."

"Agreed," Sero deadpanned.

Midoriya sighed, shaking his head. "You’ll have plenty of chances. Something tells me they’re gonna visit a lot."

Notes:

And that, my friends, is how Class 1-A collectively lost their minds.

I had way too much fun writing this chapter, and I hope you all enjoyed the chaos just as much!

Will Bakugou ever recover from the forehead kisses? Who knows!

Also somebody tell Class 1- A that kissing your homies is not gay.
