Math problems

Chapter Text

Damián no longer wanted to read those math problems, two were enough for him to want to tear up the sheet and blame his dog Max for having eaten his homework.

He sighed. The Desmonds don't give up and he continued with those math problems trying to solve them.

Anya, Frederic, and Damián are participating in a math competition. In the first round, Anya scored 92 points, Frederic 85 points, and Damián 78 points. In the second round, Anya scored 88 points, Frederic 92 points, and Damián 81 points. In the third round, Anya scored 95 points, Frederic 90 points, and Damián 86 points. If the points from each round are added up, by how many points do they surpass Damián?

It's impossible for him to get fewer points. And why are they still conspiring against me? He wrote furiously that it's impossible for him to end up in third place. Even though at the moment math was not coming easy to him.

Anya and Frederic have been saving money all year to go on a trip together...

He stopped reading there, unable to believe what he was reading just at the beginning of the math problem "Anya and Frederic" Agh it sounded horrible, but the worst, why would they go on a trip together? Outraged by what was written, he moved on to the next math problem...

Anya and Frederic...

Unable to stand reading those words, he moved on to the next one and the next. Until finally, he found one that didn't start with an "Anya and Frederic", at that he told himself that he would read this one at the end no matter what he found.

Anya is organizing a birthday party for her boyfriend Frederic, to which Damián was not invited. Anya has bought a total of 82 balloons, 20 are red, 17 are blue, 14 are yellow, how many are green?

Boyfriend? Again? When are they going to break up? But mainly...

Why the clarification that I wasn't invited? Why do I care if I go to that party or not?

Unable to think about the number of green balloons, Damián frustrated shook his hair with irritation, while continuing to mull over the party issue.

Anyway, he didn't want to go. Stupid party. Stupid math problems.
