Summary
Once upon a time, he didn't feel like this. Old age and having lived the life of a blacksmith, knight and now captain of the guard, has taken its toll. Henry’s body is betraying him, and it scares him. Something has made his body its home. New urges overwhelm him. It pulls at him to walk through the gate and not stop until the thing is sated.
One night, he gets up and leaves for the forest.
Hans hasn't seen Henry since he left their bed. Days are passing, with everyone none the wiser. The game master found the remains of his clothes in a clearing. Shredded, but not bloody. The mystery doesn't concern most of the city. They are more interested in the rumour about a massive white stag with golden antlers haunting the forest. Half the town is wondering what they could get if they managed to kill it.
