Hua Cheng didn’t want to get out of bed. It was too comfortable, and why wouldn’t he want to stare at his god's beautiful, sleeping face for the rest of eternity?
Hua Cheng lay on Xie Lian like an oversized house cat, his head resting on the god’s chest. He gazed at his husband's sleeping face as he felt the calming rise and fall of Xie Lian’s chest.
He really didn’t know how he ended up this lucky.
Suddenly, he felt a pull, and then he was face-to-face with Xie Lian.
“Morning, gege.” Hua Cheng said, smiling.
The god peered at him through sleepy eyes. He hummed, smiling. “Morning, San Lang.” He pulled Hua Cheng tighter with one arm, and with the other, he pulled Hua Cheng’s head close, pressing kisses through his hair.
Hua Cheng melted under Xie Lian’s touch. He loves him so, so much.
“Did gege sleep well?” Hua Cheng asked, voice a bit muffled by Xie Lian’s chest.
“I did.” Xie Lian replied. “And what about San Lang?”
“Good.” He mumbled.
“That’s good.” Xie Lian pused. “I suppose that San Lang would be okay with staying in bed a bit longer, right?”
Hua Cheng snorted. What kind of question was that? Of course, he would. “Your idea sounds lovely, gege.”
“I guess it’s settled.” Xie Lian said, and a moment later, he turned both of them on their sides and made sure they were both comfortable. Once settled, Xie Lian kissed anywhere on Hua Cheng’s face he could. He giggled as he did so. Hua Cheng loved seeing his beloved this way, happily loving him in every way he could.
Hua Cheng smiled. What a nice morning.
Xie Lian would go on to keep Hua Cheng trapped in bed for several more hours, never letting him go for a second. All of it was fine with Hua Cheng; he didn’t want to leave anyway.
