Summary
Peter isn't a hero.
A week after the spider bite, Uncle Ben was shot — and Aunt May had a heart attack just a year later. For a year, Peter was homeless. Then, Sir found him, took him in, and now Peter is the bodyguard to the top arms dealer in New York, and, soon, the world. Every day, they strike terror into the neighborhoods. Every day, Peter strays further and further from the hope of good, and more towards the closing line of evil.
Tony Stark steps in, at the behest of S.H.I.E.L.D., and goes undercover as Eddie, an inventor wanting to work under Sir. In reality, Tony’s trying to destroy Sir’s entire shtick.
First, the billionaire will have to earn the spiderboy's trust, and the two will form a bond only broken by those who formed it. And nothing, absolutely nothing, will go to plan.

“You’ll come to learn that there’s only one thing worse than having nothing.”
Trying to hold onto his fight, Peter shoots back, “Yeah? And what’s that?”
“To have nothing, after being able to believe you could have everything.”
The streets are dirty, crowded, and the jagged bumps in the asphalt are hardly comfortable to sleep on. They’re home, though.
Peter is just about finished with New York City. It’s gotten impossibly harder to find even a scrap of food, and what little belongings he does have are unlikely to keep him alive through the winter. And the memories. God, the painful memories here.
So he saves up. Makes a plan to get out of there.
Then, somehow, he accidentally saves Tony fucking Stark from a gang of eight mercenaries, and the majestic plan disintegrates into ash.
The worst part about it, he knows, isn’t even that he met Tony. It’s that Tony met him.

After six years of being in the foster care system, fourteen year old Peter Parker somehow managed to win an opportunity to meet his hero. The one and only Tony Stark.
“Not much of a talker is he,” Tony casually stated, making Peter stomach churn with unease. He had no idea where the man was going with his assessment and wasn’t really sure how to properly defend himself. Thankfully, he didn’t have to.“Peter has what they call selective mutism,” the social worker replied. “So, no. I suppose he’s not much of a talker.”
Tony leaned back in his chair and arched his eyebrow. “He doesn’t talk at all?”
“I’ve been his social worker for six years and I’ve never heard more than a peep out of him,” the social worker said, this time, turning towards Peter to offer him a reassuring smile.

When Bucky helped Spidr- Peter. When Bucky helped Peter after what had to be a traumatic event, he never thought about how much the teen could grow on him
When Clint broke into Sam's apartment at 3AM, he was just looking for blackmail. He didn't notice the younger figure in his initial scan of the apartment, but hell will freeze over before he lets Stark adopt Peter first.
TLDR: Peter gets two new uncles and a dad, but it's not who you think
