Loki leaned back in his creaky chair.
“Yeah. That’s ‘cos you failed, mate.”
“You’re takin’ the piss!” Rin shot back, eyes wide. “I am not gettin’ dumped into bottom set maths! The people there shop at Tesco!”

Rin doesn't know how to name the uncomfortable sensation he feels when he’s with Isagi. It's frustrating, being tossed around by the heart and mind he usually has control over. Some sort of unhinged starving claws through his ribcage whenever Isagi looks at him.
“Rin,” Isagi breathes out.
Their foreheads are pressed against each other, only the blue pair of eyes courageous enough to attempt eye contact. Rin settles for staring at Isagi’s clavicle. He’d rather not give him a window into whatever shape his stupid soul has melted into because of him.
Rin eyes a bead of sweat trailing down his neck, sliding past his collarbone. He feels like sitting up and licking it away.
“I think-–I love you.”
