Summary
Clarke saw a life that would never happen, Lexa and her getting together, laughing, smiling, crying, fighting, getting married, having children, and just living. Then she thought about her friends who had all been waiting at the finish line for her, including Wells - who she had convinced to come just to watch her die, apparently -, waiting for her to get back to them. Lastly, she thought about her mom. A mother that she would never see again. A mother that was never the same after her husband had drunk himself to the grave.
Suddenly, a hand reached for hers, gripping it tightly before the car toppled over the edge. Clarke closed her eyes before she could see the bottom, preferring that the last thing she saw before she died were green eyes staring right back at hers full of could-have-beens.
After a couple of seconds of free-falling, everything went black.
Or, a fic in which you'll lose the concept of time and space but it doesn't matter because you'll have Clexa right there lost with you.
