Summary
Nara Shikako had spent a great deal of time making sure she was in the "canon" world of Naruto. With limited options, she had to accept that all evidence pointed to the conclusion she was, yet the true test of this theory would be the first day of the Academy. It turns out that this world wasn't quite the Naruto canon she was familiar with.
She was not alone.

Turning onto her side, Sakura curled up against Madara’s bare chest. Inhaling deeply, she held onto his scent. It brought to mind images of bonfires alighting the night in the deep, dark forests. The smell soothed her, made her feel at peace. Sighing with contentment, Sakura pressed her cheek against Madara’s chest and listened to the beating of her husband’s heart.
A warm feeling pooled low within her belly. Husband. Her husband. Sakura thought it had been hard enough on her self control when they’d been unmarried and forced by society to remain chaste. Now though, that he was hers and she was his, it felt all but impossible to keep her hands off of him.
