Summary
Peter Parker is struggling with intense grief and isolation after losing his loved ones, including Tony Stark and Aunt May. Overwhelmed by his emotions and believing he can’t be there for his friends, MJ and Ned, he decides to escape by jumping through a glowing green portal. When he lands, he finds himself in an unfamiliar place, disoriented and alone, with police sirens in the distance.
Meanwhile, Danny Fenton (Phantom) is in a dire situation. He's been betrayed by his adoptive parents, who have captured and tortured him in their lab. Despite the pain and the realization that this might be the end, Danny clings to the hope of escape. His sister, Jazz, comes to rescue him, and though they share a heartbreaking moment of goodbye, Jazz encourages Danny to escape through a portal, knowing it’s his only chance. As Danny falls through, Jazz’s love and sacrifice remain with him.
Both characters are dealing with loss, betrayal, and the need to escape, setting the stage for their paths to intertwine in an unfamiliar world. -

As far as anyone was concerned, Dash was as perfect as they came. A captain of just about every sports team in Casper High, he was top dog in terms of popularity, literally everything that anyone wanted to be.
He was just...perfect.
And that was exactly what he'd like to have everyone think, if only to have them miss the unraveling that was happening, just beneath the surface. Behind that charm, that physique, that perfection...there was a writhing, twisting mass of ugliness that reared its head...yet no one ever saw it.
Of course they didn't.
He was far too good at hiding it to let them.

He was trying, he really was. To be the star that his mind said that he should be, that he desperately wished he was. How could he know that his own fantasy, his own delusion, was so fragile? Delicate to the wild breaks that would come and go here and there until all there was left were shadows of his imagination?
He was delusional, those imperceptible dreams wild and unattainable. Some weren't meant to dream, to aspire for more. Some were meant to writhe and twist and scream until the end. There would be no soft lullabies at his end. Just agony, unending agony, then silence. Pervasive and unclear until the dark came.
Some were meant, weren't owed, the bliss that sometimes came in life.
Some were owed nothing. Nothing at all.
This was the hand that he was dealt, and it foretold of his misery.
