Summary
The story is a sequel to the games events. It will follow my version of the game I got through my playthrough.
Shroud has been defeated. The great enemy to Robert, the man who took his father from him, has been stopped. With the power to take his life, Robert spared him, leaving him to face the consequence behind bars. He hopes that would be the last of Shroud and his Red Ring army.

Robert’s sure he could turn it into a joke. A group of ex-villains walk into a bar and harass their ex-hero boss on off hours. Not that they know that. Not that he’s technically even still ex-hero now he’s got the suit back.

The Z team don’t like the fact that Mecha Man’s about to take their dispatcher for his own personal tech support. They have a lot of loyalty for the man keeping them from going back to some less than comfortable cells.

Robert grunted as Phen tucked his face into the side of his neck and fisted his palms in the plush dark blue sweater under them, suddenly very clingy.
“What’s with all these people today?” Robert reached up behind him and ran his fingers through the curls on Phen’s nape.
“You’re just too beautiful, my husband.”
“Beautiful?” His face heated up, feeling all too aware of their PDA.

Summary
Early into Robert's time as a dispatcher, Flambae is hit by a temporary form of love magic that highjacks his senses and leaves him infatuated with the first person he interacts with. To Robert's terrible misfortune, that happens to be him. Now, he not only has to learn how to handle a supremely compromised Flambae, but survive the onslaught of ridicule from the rest of his team of ex-villains.
Robert has been through all sorts of bullshit before, but even this is new to him. Hopefully, he can weather the storm and get the old, bitchy Flambae back before the HR violations stack so high, they'll kill him if (or when) they come crashing down.

Summary
Warmth enveloped his senses. Heat rather, all encompassing, surrounding every numbing nerve. What was left of them at least. Unfortunately this comforting suffocation left him almost as fast as it came.
At least that is how it felt; time blurring together in this never ending void. He didn’t mean for it to fall this far. There was no light, no ladder, and no helping hand to pull him out. Not that Robert minded too much; he was awfully tired.
Years of dedication and blood- all pushing towards one goal. Sleepless nights, body aches, head trauma and all the lovely things that follow with that. He didn’t know if he could consider himself proud; did he do it for himself or for approval from a dead man. These kinds of thoughts are what brought him to this moment, feeling death’s arms cradle his aching muscles. The feeling of his stomach dropping with some sick instinctual fear, his body knowing this might be it. He was nothing but an animal, pushing forward on a predator drive till his legs couldn’t carry his weight. -

Summary
It's ironic.
That's the only thing Chase can think when he walks up to the hospital, knowing just who is lying on a hospital bed. Ironic how it takes Robert nearly dying for him to finally slow down for Chase to catch up. He was supposed to be speed itself, the Track Star who never slows down. Yet for 15 years, Chase hasn't been able to catch the one person who needs him teh most.
Only once he's lost his ability to run can Chase finally catch Robert Robertson. With the kid finally forced to stop, Chase vows that he won't let Robert slip away from him anymore. This time, he's going to be here when the kid needs it.
Even if Robert would do anything he could to keep Chase away.
