Summary
Izuku didn't know what he was doing when he took his hand. When he said yes. All he knew was that he was going to be a hero, no matter what anyone had said. He was going to help people.
But then it all turned out to be a lie. The one person he thought he could trust a villain that wanted to use him to kill in his stead. He thought he was going to do good, in the end all he was made for was tearing apart the lives of villains, civilians and heroes alike, and there was nothing he could do to stop it.
So when he sees his chance, he takes it. And he runs as far and as fast as he could. Every chance for a future shattered by his own choices, and no chance for rest in a constant race against time.
Izuku thought he was going to be a hero.
Instead he became nothing more than a homeless kid running blind from everything he knew, just trying to do some good and hoping it might be enough to make up for every time he'd failed.
And then something changes, when a certain underground hero takes on his case.

Summary
When Midoriya Izuku wants something, he figures out how to get it.
Maybe it's not the best coping mechanism, but being the class clown (and class vigilante, although nobody knows that yet) has proven to be the best way for a quirkless freak to get some sort of positive affirmation. Yeah, he's useless, but at least he's funny. As the vigilante Ghost, he meets Eraserhead and saves civilians during daring escapades. But as the newly-quirked Izuku, his abusive father has come back and everyone in UA seems to hate him for making jokes.
In other words; follow Izuku on his adventures through UA as he suffers in many various ways! Might include a ship after a while, but will not be romance-oriented. Read the tags for possible TWs!

Peter Parker's life doesn't need an influx of new, distinctly spidery Spider-Man powers. He would gladly spend the rest of his days not creating tiny spiders from nowhere, for example. Like, in a, "yes please, I'll take two orders of the 'no spider-parenthood lifestyle,' hold the whip" kind of way. And that's only the start of how certifiably nuts his life has gotten lately.
But... okay, the spiders are pretty cute. And the other powers, well, aren't horrible. He supposes. And if Deadpool seems to think his new spidery skills are great and interesting and hot (which is weird, but not as objectionable as Peter would expect), that's... that's not so horrible, either.
Alternatively: Peter's powers are a joke, he's broke, and his love life... isn't all that DOA.

Oww, Peter thought blandly as he shifted- no, scratch that, tried to shift- onto his back but quickly decided that wasn’t in his best interest. Voices, both his own and not, swam in his head like a wave beating against his forehead.
“They’re coming here because of me, right? Because I’m Peter Parker? So cast a new spell, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget me.”
“It wouldn’t be enough. Your very presence would destabilize this universe.”
Peter finally managed to roll himself over onto his back, ignoring the sharp pain that shot through his spine at the movement enough to sit up and look around. He was in an alley which thankfully held no occupants save himself and the trash littering the ground.
“But I can… I can send you away. To a place where there is no Peter Parker. No Spiderman.”

It's easy. It's the best.
