He survived his suicide attempt, and he's genuinely glad for the second chance, but sometimes living is harder than letting go. As for what gave him the second chance... well, he's not entirely sure what to think of that either. With new hope and shattered world views, he continues down the path he originally chose, though this time without the wide-eyed wonder he once held for the world. He enters UA to become a hero, because if he can't believe in the ones he used to love, he can at least make himself into the hero he needs.

He will be a hero, no matter what it takes, because he can be. Despite all the voices telling him he can't, he can. Izuku just has to prove it.

    TLDR - Izuku has a kitsune Quirk and is determined to become an underground hero - he will makes lots of friends and a whole Yamazawa family along the way, although things are never quite easy.

    Of all the quirks in existence, it HAD to be the one with the most awkward activation method ever: kissing. But Izuku is nothing but determined, and even with a quirk that lands him into more embarrassing instances than necessary, he's still going to be a hero anyways.

    AKA, Izuku still faces Quirkless discrimination growing up, terrifies U.A. with his notebooks, reluctantly seduces his classmates, makes everyone whipped, and gets spiritually adopted by Nemuri while Nezu kicks back and relaxes with a cup of Darjeeling as the chaos unfolds.

    Oh. And he has villains obsessing after him too. Just what has his life succumbed to?!

    Midoriya is a test subject in the years after Portal 2, where he undergoes human experimentation at the hands of Glados.
