Mostly written as part of my post-S3 finale healing process. We all want to know what happens after, so here we are.

It had been one and a half years since the Celestial War in the Coliseum for God’s Throne. One and a half years since she died and Lucifer brought her back by sacrificing himself. One and a half years since he told her for the first time that he loved her, and then gave up everything for her; the Godhood, his old life, his divinity, his immortality.
Set one and a half years after the end of A Chance at a Happy Ending and it goes completely different from Season six's storyline.
Lucifer becomes a mortal keeping only his ability to draw people's desires and tries to settle to domestic and normal life with Chloe and Trixie. However, it's not as easy as he thought it would be while the celestial-and earthly-interference and craziness don't let him and his new family to live in peace.

Lucifer Morningstar, that smug, prideful, handsome angel/demon man is sin himself in every possible way that a man can be. The very instinct someone should have upon hearing his name should be to turn tail and run. But you understand now why Eve was so tempted by him in the garden. The angel who first fell from Heaven could make any human fall to their knees for him with just how tempting he is...
So, why... why does he lure you in like a moth to a flame? Why does this man with a painful past who gave up on your fellow sinners cast temptation on you so easily? Should you focus on your own salvation, or succumb to the desire to mend the broken soul of the fallen angel himself?

Summary
Lucifer convinced Chloe to shoot him... and turned out to be invulnerable, thus proving that he does not speak in metaphors. The detective is horrified by the revelation that the world is much larger than she used to think, and the literal Devil exists and, moreover, takes a serious interest in her... but this is nothing compared to what she very soon discovers in herself - suddenly manifested incredible physical strength, which Lucifer had previously demonstrated before her eyes. This pushes her to confront Satan instead of just ignoring his existence, despite all the fears and doubts...
...And this turns out to be only the first step in their journey together.
