Summary
A Charlastor story...
The fools all played right into Alastor’s hands. With no chains holding him back, his long deserved "fun" can finally begin, but there is only one problem. He is still not powerful enough to take on an archangel. He has seen the failure of technology, the vulnerability of angels, the stupidity of the Morningstars, and the meagre demonic magic his fellow overlord posses. His goal remains the same, to obtain more power. Who needs wealth, friends, connections, allies, and even redemption if you have the means to do whatever you want! For that end, Alastor needs to find clues. If Rosie can’t give him more power. Who can? What can? But first, he’ll need to get out of that blasted hotel. It was Rosie’s idea to begin with. She can no longer force him to stay by Charlie’s side anymore, but the princess of hell is not fully on-board with that notion.

Summary
In the aftermath of his battle with Adam, Alastor sustained a wound that refused to heal. With each passing day, the wound grows. With each wretched act, the mark upon his chest makes itself known. Alastor was being judged, not by Heaven or Hell, but something else. Something without a name.
And so Charlie, in her infinite goodness and need to help, has put it upon herself to try and save Alastor’s soul while simultaneously running her hotel. But the mystery only deepens the further the duo dives. Questions of fate, uncertain feelings, and connections that neither expected, come to light as they grapple with ‘The Mark of Judgment.’

Redemption moves on without them. Time does, too. But in the afterlight Niffty left behind, Charlie starts to see Alastor more clearly than he ever wanted to be seen… and Alastor learns that some wounds cut deeper when they come from gentleness.

After suffering a shameful defeat at the hands of Adam. Alastor was forced to flee and recover his strength. In his pain and isolation he contemplated about a few things that has happened in his afterlife, and realized two absolute truths: he needed more power and he has fallen in love with Charlie.
