Summary
Everyone always says Hitoshi looks just like Aizawa. It makes sense- Aizawa is his dad, his mentor, his hero inspiration. It was Aizawa who brought home the adoption papers and Aizawa who gave him his first capture scarf.
What they don't know, however, is that it wasn't Aizawa who he met first. And it isn't Aizawa he sees when he looks in the mirror.

“Is that a muzzle?” Hitoshi had never heard Aizawa so angry, and it was his first instinct to shrink back, but he slowly nodded.
“Are you stuck?” Yamada’s tone made Hitoshi think he already knew the answer, but he didn’t know how to indicate that it was locked, so he said nothing.
Aizawa placed a hand on his shoulder, and Hitoshi forced himself to look up. “We’re going to get you out of there,” his tone was so gentle, especially compared to the obvious fury from before. “We’re going to get you out of there, okay?”

Summary
If you need anything, you call me. That’s what Aizawa had said when he’d given him his number. Hitoshi wasn’t really sure what he meant by that. He probably didn’t mean this.
What would he even say?
He wasn’t sure, but he’d already pressed the Call button.
It rang three times. Aizawa was probably on patrol anyway, or asleep. Either way, he wouldn’t answer his phone.
The ringing stopped.
“Shinsou?” Aizawa’s voice was low, heavy with the dregs of sleep. “What is it?”
“I’m sorry. You were asleep.” Hitoshi could have kicked himself. Of course Aizawa was asleep: it was one in the morning, what was he thinking—
“It’s okay,” Aizawa said, interrupting Hitoshi’s rapidly spiralling thoughts. “I wasn’t really. I drifted off grading papers.” There was a noise on the other end of the line, like Aizawa was now in motion.
“What’s going on?” Aizawa still sounded tired, but there was an alertness to his voice that hadn’t been there before.
“Uh.” Shit. What was Hitoshi supposed to say to that? “Nothing.”
Definitely not that.
Or, Hitoshi is in a bad situation. Aizawa is going to help, whether Hitoshi wants him to or not.
